Yea, this is known. And while it’s still possible after 1.04, most people shy away from it (especially online) and do dive kick instead because of how tight it’s become: j.hk > cr.hp xx hk.senpusha > cr.hp xx jump cancel dive > cl.mp xx lk.senpusha for 469
Also, while it’s slightly less damage I prefer to use a stored fuhajin in this for a hitconfirm as just going right into cr.hp xx senpusha can be a dangerous prospect. j.hk > cr.hp xx lk.release > cr.hp xx hk.senpusha > cr.hp xx j.hp > cl.hp xx lk.senpusha 501 dmg.
Why would you say doing cr.hp into H senpusha is dangerous? If you know the jump-in was blocked just do mp into fuhajin for safety. If you see the jump-in connect the combo is yours.
My connection doesn’t allow for 1-hit confirms 90% of the time.

I play online too. This issue is there but only against reallly terrible connections. I hate rollback. Gotta get my HD PVR up and runnning. Throw out some JurixKing combo’s. I honestly think JurixKing were made for eachother.
I was reading on your guys is combo’s from Ex Shikusen. Now EX Shikusen has a juggle potential of 5. So hitting someone out of the air and preforming EX shikusen will whiff. To get good dmg for 2 bars you can Ex Shikusen, M senpusha (delayed), Sc partner follow-up. Costs 2 bars but hey, sometimes it’s worth it.
Really? That was my first team and I was so determined to play them… but King just didn’t work out for me, too many input cross-overs - some due to his commands, some due to my assy-mcgee execution.
Ironically I’m running Marduk now instead, much less execution-heavy I feel… something I need to balance out Juri.

- Super and cross art can also be combo’d into after landing a grounded mk.senpusha (very tight link) or hk.fuhajin store (same damage, easier)
Tagging into your partner
- Tag on first hit of mk/hk senpusha (Tagging on first hit of hk senpusha is safe on block… usually), works during juggles
- Tag on fuhajin store (Tag on the kick, the fuhajin will release and keep the opponent airborne while your partner runs in, hk works best), works during juggles
- Tag on cl.hk (Keeps opponent grounded for follow-ups)
- Tag during ex-shikusen (timing is character dependent, follow-ups are difficult)
Don’t tag off Ex Shikusen…instead tag off M senpusha that way you get 280 non scaled damage then your partner can easily follow-up since the opponent is launched high into the air. Also after every juggle combo and finishing it with L senpusha always store a Fuhajin. You are safe if done corrrectly.
I almost forgot, If you store a H/M Fuhajin you can keep those for your anti throw attempts on wake-up or for tick throws. So…
1 bar- H Fuhajin shot> cr.hp> H Senpusha tag (262 dmg before tag)
Meterless- H Fuhajin shot> st.mp> Fuhajin kick> Sekku> cr.mk> L Senpusha (dmg 303 for H verison 293 with M verison).
Unlike normal shikusen, ex doesn’t scale (it counts as 1 move) and does 40/20 dmg more than m/h senpusha respectively. That said, I listed it purely because it’s an option that someone someday may find useful for their team composition. Not because I personally think it’s good, lol. Also didn’t really delve into setups/store opportunities, but the airborne properties on m/h fuhajin is news to me… wasn’t aware of that one.

Or what you can do off EX Shikusen is L senpusha then if they quick recover you can x-up or fake a x-up. Guess you can say it causes a real difficult thing to block. Hell you could even call it almost unblockable.
Actually just forgo M senpusha after EX Shikusen. You have plenty of time to connect H Senpusha after Ex Shikusen. netting you 300 unscaled damage. Switch cancel into say King, Knee lift, cr/cl.hp RJB/RASC. netting you 550 for 2 bars. That’s 50% health or more gone for the whole cast except Hugo.
