Push the chip damage from a 3 hit fireball over and over, eventually had to find a way through it.
^^Yo, Max, do u play SF4 on ur ps3? I played u a few times on the 360, but I dont have my stick back for it, so Im mainly on the PS3 for the next couple of weeks.
Nah sorry, have a PS3 but barely ever use it
not much we can do about that…just dont quick recovery everytime IMO
or of course…ultra ! haha
hey hit me up on psn. i’m always looking for other and better kens to play against, it helps me improve my game.
i’m gonna be posting a vid once it get’s uploaded within the next few days. hopefully you guys can give me some good critique since i suck against sagats.
I’'ll add you or u add me…Im looking to improve as well…
I love playing against Sagat now, sometimes I lose & other times I beat the breaks off his punk ass. I still need to own Eric K’s Sagat then I’ll be happy.
Saw this and thought of you Ken scrubs:

lol owned by apache. (note: link doesn’t work) but seeing as how your past was shaping up to be 100% worthless, would you mind kindly GTFO of the ken section?
still broken moron
I recorded some of my matches from today (all the 6/19/09 ones). I think I was kind of nervous with the camera on, but I was playing alright.

So let me have it! What can I do better? What am I not doing right? Any advice/ comments help.
Copy and paste it moron
Wait wait, let’s get this straight. Now you want us to go out of our way by copy and pasting the link to eventually get insulted by a retard who already failed twice. It’s not very hard to troll a forum, but fucking it up two times in a row should result in castration.
I’d say counter his distance fireballs with some of your own, ken’s projectile game is weaker than ryu’s but it gets in his head that you’re not gonna take that. Also, it’s hard to stop (oh I know), but don’t rely on the focus attack then you see an opponent with meter…especially against Sagat or Ryu. Random EX fireballs can get them out of many of situations. Best of luck.
This guy is posting the same link around in the Abel forums. Tiny URL is a great way to get spyware on your machine.
I posted it once in the Abel forums coz I though Kaliden3 might find it funny, and it aint trolling just winding ya up and I can see it worked. Anyways, I fought one of the best Kens ever last night.
He was very aggressive and used some brilliant combos to open me up, forgot his Gamertag though
i’ll give you a bit of credit, admitedly that was funny. not helpfull in the slightest… but funny

First off… focus absorbing a sonic boom into ULTRA!!! That was a pretty sick set up man.
I think the main things to work on are: 1. spacing 2. execution and 3. set-ups/ mix-ups. (I don’t think anyone ever stops working on these things)
-
Every character needs to be spaced differently, and I think it is a little easier for Ken to do so since he just needs to figure out how to most effectively get in the other guys face. So really, cross-up/ jump in/ kara-throw/ poke distances are the name of the game. ALOT can be said about this, but in order to keep it brief I will just keep it at that.
-
I say this mainly because I’m not sure if you were going for combos ending in specials or not, but alot of the times you had a combo like c.lk - c.lp - s.lp - c.mk and didn’t finish. If you have EX meter, use EX TATSU. If you don’t a TATSU.rh will work on some characters, but you can also play it safe with a hadoken. When you land something like c.lp - c.lp, finish with a shoryuken. Getting TATSUs/ knockdowns and then changing it up between your different options is how to keep the damage rolling in. Use those hit confirms!
-
A couple times you became very predictable. Tick/ kara-throw setups are very important tools that Ken has, but when they become telegraphed, they work against you. c.lp -> throw, c.lk - c.lp -> k-throw, c.lp - c.lp - c.lp -> k-throw, f+mk -> k-throw, c.lk - c.lk - c.lk -> k-throw, etc. Mix them up. Even just walking back and forth on wake up like you are going to cross-up and then just doing a k-throw can be dangerous. Also, if you have EX meter, using an FADC combo off of a basic poke can be very valuable, like c.mk xxFB - FADC - c.rh. I love this because it is usually surprising and it gives you a knockdown.
Also, don’t forget j.rh, c.rh to punish fireballs. It is simple, but it works… and gives you a knockdown to get things rolling. But really, nice job with landing those ULTRAs. Very creative a couple times, like that air EX TATSU in the corner, very nice.
Also it was good to play you on XBL the other day, we should get some practice going for sure!
i’m tired so will comment more tommorow.
it looks like you got really frustrated for the last match after missing that ex tatsu > ultra setup at the end of round 2, which admitedly was the huge let-down of the vid, you had him do the right thing… just got a little anxious on starting the ex tatsu.
anyways it seems like you let your frustration take over in that 3rd game and guile walked all over you for it, gotta shake off losses quickly.
