I would agree here about the meaties. they are essential to him. without them he is reversed and once that happens he has very little and is back to an uphill battle.
the meaties are the secret to his pressure to a great extent.

great post, ima have to read more into it when im not at work
I know PCs are unsafe on block and are generally horrible to use (unless you anticipate a focus or using EX), but does anybody know if it beats an anticipated Blanka Ball? Honda Torpedo? Dhalsim arms? Vega wall jumps?
I went against somebody far better than me and ended up winning because they’d never seen a Dictator basically spam PCs (of course, not when I’d think he’d block it). I thought that since a lot of characters have trouble against fireball characters, I’d use PC as a pseudo-fireball. Anybody know if this is viable against the non-fireball characters? And no, not spamming it since it’s unsafe on block, but perhaps beating out moves.
One thing I’ve been trying to figure out that I haven’t really had time to try: On wakeup, if the opponent keeps jumping over Bison, do you have to change the respective input direction right when they jump over you? Does that make sense?
Against Blanka Ball, the PC must be out first in order to beat it, if you start the PC when he’s pretty close to you, you’ll lose.
Honda Torpedo trades for the most part (not in your favor in my opinion, it’s better to block, then get free mk or hk SK)
Dhalsim st. hp beats PC clean.
Against Vega Wall jump, PC actually BEATS it, under the condition that PC is already out (like you’re spinning with Purple FIYAAH~), if start the PC up right as he’s about to hit you with the wall jump, you’ll lose everytime. PC is actually pretty good in this stuation because when PC is active, he can’t hit you with the wall jump, if you miss, you still run away (use hp version at least)
For the most part I use non EX-PC to:
Startup is still slow, recovery is still bad, the move itself isn’t even fast enough to get you out of range of their attacks.
As a move overall, I still don’t recommend it, but in certain situations I guess they’re usable (but generally Dictator has other better tools)
Yes you need to change the direction. Lets say you want to EX PC on wake up. If you’re charging down/back, and he crosses you up, you need to change the direction to down/forward (the new down/back)
So by the time you wake up, you still have the charge and can still perform the EX PC.
Same goes for crossup attacks of your own, when you do a jump in crossup attack and are holding back, you need to change the charge (move the joystick forward, the “new” back), then hit the jump in, do the combo then finish them with the SK or whatever.
Hope that helps
Hm, I never thought about using it against Vega’s Wall Dives. Either way, I’m still convinced that most times you can use a normal PC, you’re better off using SK in it’s place. The only times I use a normal PC is:
I believe the Fierce version of PC does the most chip damage (32 per hit) out of all of Bison’s special moves. It also does inflicts more stun than any other special move, so if you’re going for a dizzy, go for it.
If you ask me, PC is only good for it’s block damage and it’s stun… and that’s not saying much.
I’ve always input the direction that the person is jumping from, but I’ve also read that the game will auto correct the input.
For instance, this is how I teleport on crossup: Say I’m on P2 side, and Gen is trying to cross me up. I’d input: :l::d::db: + :3k:, and I’ll teleport as far the camera will let me to the P1 side.
This is a link to a place that has archived every touranment this year you can look at the winnigest characters including Bison. Who has good numbers. He ain’t perfect but people are winnig with him.
and more than akuma, viper and sim, tied with chun and close to rufus. but of course no ones going to top Ryu in terms of sheer usage. I’m surprised. Dictator faired better towards the end of the summer too.
how do you execute the dash into ultra anyone?
Charge back, then press forward direction twice, then quickly press back, then forward +3K
:l: Charge, :r: :r:, :l:, :r: +3K
If it’s not coming out, you really got to pay attention to the dash forward input, while Dictator is going forward, you still have time to press back then forward +3K quickly.
Hope that helps
Haven’t heard ppl talking about it or seen it done anywhere so…
Air-to-air forward j.MK, forward dash(cross under), BnB. I do cr.LPx2-4, crLKxxLK Knee Press. Caution against shotos. If they were trying a DP then it will auto-correct if they input it not knowing about the cross up.
Aside from that, I think you can do a Knee Press/Psycho Crusher right after the dash under because of how this game lets you save your charge soon after a crossup. I’ve done a headstomp, the opponent dashed under to make it whiff, and I still had charge to do Knee Press as soon as I recovered.
wait by forward j.mk you mean the non-neutral version yes?
Yeah. u/f+MK
EDIT: Haha, and I randomly come across it while watching match vids.

Good shit man. I’ll have to practice this.
Yeah, you can do shit like s.rh combo also or dash under throw. I mainly use it against charger characters. Makes them lose their charge free.
Does Bison have any neutral jumping attacks that can cross up(like Chun Li and Fei’s u+HK)?
No. but nj.HK has some nice priority.
Found out that using cr.hp as an anti-air you can FADC it to dash under to cross up the other player on reset and did a bnb.
I found out during some games that Bison’s Scissor Kick has Armor break properties. Only on the last frames though right when he land on the second hit. Pretty cool stuff. I believe it was light scissor kick.
This is why I’m not around anymore.
