ChennehCis, i new here but am a fan of Bison and various other characters. I was going to use your combo list and make a downloadable PDF with all the pretty graphics like a SF4 Manual if you dont mind that is.
I’ll try and get something up this week as a sample if you approve i can complete it. I plan on doing all the players but mainly the ones i know how to use atm.

While you can punish his headbut, i don’t think it’s something you should rely on. Cause the chip damage is higher than the damage u give him with a SK

The most challenging part would be a matchup section as they requires a large amount of information and experience. You will most probably need community input on that.
Focus Attacks are your friend. I usually do a lvl 1 FA and try to remember that he won’t crumple when it hits. At least it will stop the poke spamming (for awhile). Backdash after the FA hits, or if you’re feeling risky, try to dash forward and throw/combo.

yeah community input would be great, i will have a sample today or tomorrow sometime. Also im a graphic artist so ive made my own logos that represent somewhat the actual game logos. Its all been made in indesign CS3 with Proper fonts and all. Hopefully she will look good.
EDIT: well this is the first round that i compiled just before, its ruff atm but it’s a taste on where i want this to head. Basically in the end people can download this and print it out at home and have a list of combos to use with out going to websites and trying to memorize then alt tabbing back and forth between apps whilst gaming in SF4.

I’ll send you a new combo list of the more important combos. Lots of combos there are for reference (Damage and Stun), but actual use in matches only have a handful.

Are thought so, i was trying some of these and some are difficult lol let alone like you said in a real match. Ive been doing abit of reading here and their about bison and it seems my matches are getting more and more interesting with the use of Medium Kick lol. It almost interupts everything and at a good distance.
I’ll try and segment better so its more for real matches with abit more explanation as to where and when to use them.
I got messaged last night after a good match between my Bison and a Ryu. “Man your Bison is Scarey”. Feels good to know your own efforts are being recognised. I tend not to let people know what im doing like dont really let them know im charging which really puts them on their toes lol.
I was airthrown off of Fei’s forward medium kick once. :amazed: You know, his overhead.
Was so stunned by it, I went into shock the entire round and lost miserably.

With everyone talking about how crappy Dictator is, on some days I would agree, but other times, I can’t just drop him as a character. I’ve already invested time into this guy, and seeing as I don’t have lots of time to play much in the first place, I’m not sure picking another character is the best thing to do.
More importantly though, this is the Dictator forum. Talking about how much this character sucks or not contributes nothing to this Character Forum. We will talk tactics, strategies and matchups. Good day.

I loves him to death, however I do still see his flaws. I try to keep them in the wishlist thread though, rather than tossing out “his PC/HR sucks” into every thread.
I do wanna learn a non charge character though, just to freshen things up.
We don’t need new threads about it, however discussing it in the APPROPRIATE threads is OK
Talking about his shortcomings so that other people can be aware of them, avoid them, and possibly offer suggestions on how to get around them is fine, but talking crap about him just to talk crap is not helpful, I agree.
no matter what his shortcomings are I will always play him.

I want to point out that the teleport auto-corrects itself. For example, I wiggle the joystick in the same direction (db, d, db) for straight jumpins as well as crossups. The only time I ever get hit is when I screw up the input (slide or c.fp ftl), or on SUPER meaty crossups such as gief’s splash.
Also, I disagree with meaties not worth doing; I think for bison they are HUGE part of his game, especially in certain matchups.
I would also point out any shoto and chun as far as I know now cr.mk will make your dr and skull driver miss if they time it properly.
just another strike against dictator in terms of neutralizing everything he does either on reaction or with some kind of buffer limiting his opions.
Guiles crouching kicks do that too, it pisses me off all the time.
I hate when I try to tp, but instead I either slide, or just don’t get it off on time. I also hate the fact I keep trying to spam it during blockstun
