I do have the tendency to say that something about my Rose doesn’t work every time I lose. I just lost another match because I didn’t hit-confirm…that’s something I have to practice. I had a few of her 1f links down, but after switching between PS3 and 360 several times, I think that’s making me lose my timing on those. I feel confident that my footsies and spacing game is very strong, but I could become a much stronger player if I just get those 1f links down, and hit-confirms. I would rejoice if I had the ability to turn jab and short combos into knockdowns. Not only would it result in my opponent getting more damage, but the key is knocked down. That allows me to go for pressure mix-ups, etc. I would consider getting a stick if I could afford one. Unfortunately, I don’t have a job, and I’m low on money.

The thing i like most about rose’s u2 is they have to respect it. Whether or not you use it on wakeup is another thing but u2 is the one move they have to respect on your wakeup and it’s your fastest reversal (5 frames in super). Most of the time on wakeup, when you have it and they’re pressuring you, you get a free wakeup because they try to purposely bait it out (e.g. balrog did it twice). Nobody just throws out random unsafe normals on your wakeup because they know they’ll eat an ultra 2 + free combo.
(@Balrog match)The two times you did use ultra on wakeup i kinda felt you didn’t need to. Rog was already backing off and baiting u2. Rose has really bad recovery and hitboxes for her fireball. You shouldn’t use it unless it’s pretty much full screen unless you want to eat a full punish. Finally, you have to block more when you have u2. A random jab will probably trade and make you lose ultra. Use it when they’re near the corner and you can walk them into it or after an unsafe spiral to continue pressure.

Some matches against a TFA player named Javo Van Gogh, a Boxer player. We did best out of 5 rounds instead of the regular 2 out of 3, so it felt a bit weird.

just make sure you can do them offline. a one frame link is always going to be harder to hit consistently online…

i’ve actually began to buffer everything. From ex soul throw to ultra etc…
You guys have really good meter management to always have full super meter.
I always use it to end combos or to do the so called “Sako” combo haha.
