you should definitely avoid doing cr. strongs after spirals now unless you’re really certain…st. mk is probably the better choice.
Most people crouch block Spirals anyway.
So they’ll most likely go for a crouching move.

It was in SFA2, I always liked doing st.mk -> Spiral lol.
if they dont know the matchup, you can probably do continuous cr. strong spirals. But if they do, cr. strongs will usually trade now. I especially noticed this against ryu/ken.
On a side note, did they nerf the hitboxes for ex spiral? Holy crap that move is losing to wayyy more normals then usual in AE(compared to super). All these people are throwing out random normals and it beats my ex spiral even though i guessed right. Maybe its just in my head.
Considering it has 11 invincibility frames, and it doesn’t even cover the entire start-up of 13 frames, the looks might be deceiving you.
EX Spiral is the same.
It hasn’t changed but people hitboxes have got better or they have gained more active frames so that might have more to do with it losing out to normals.

You did pretty well in the beginning. Never do Sparks from full screen, Viper can easily punish with her Seismos. That’s what happened at the end.
That wasn’t my best game against him. I played him 11 times. I came close to winning 3 or 4 games.
I should upload my match against wolfkrone, i was actually able to block roses stupid crossup.

Doing sparks from full screen is fine, as long as you know he isn’t looking out for it and yeah.
Like a trade of EX Spark for the win is fine or while he’s doing like random burn kicks from full screen, a lp spark at the very beginning of start up leaves you safe
i find after crossup on ken, cl mk is unsafe. I usually get punished if the ken is spamming srk.

on another note, you missed out on a few spiral frame traps for some good damage, but its alright, this ken sucked and had no chance to win to begin with.
