shouldnt you want your own moves used against you so you can better understand them? its crazy how many roses there are now in super and i like it. though out of the ones ive faced only one of them was good and we got in lots of endless. i personally love playing the rose mirror and have a lot of fun, easily one of my favorite match ups in the entire game.
lol wow you were recording those matches? If I had know I definitely would’ve gone with my main lol. I’m trying to pit my Ken against all high level players so I can get better with him thats why I picked him 10 straight times. Next time I’ll go with Bison hopefully the matches are better. GGS

I also liked how nearly every drill was safe and any unsafe drill was fadc’d. Juicebox got shut down completely.

Alright a few tips:
When landing U2 as anti-air, try dashing or sliding to better position yourself immediately after the ultra freeze. If near the corner, slide or dash away from the corner. In all likeliness, one of the orbs will land, and you’ll recover in time to land the other PLUS you’ll be slightly further away from the other player, meaning you can really see which way to input soul throw (since we’re all sure you didn’t want reflect).
Bison corner scissors traps you must learn. the key components are blocked LK scissors, c.LK xx scissors. c.LK can counter-hit Rose out of ANYTHING without invincibility. If you try to EX Spiral, Bison can block, then punish. Your only answer is to block the scissors trap, and/or wait for a throw attempt.
Use either c.HP, or slide to throw/sc.MK to counter Devil’s Reverse. I stick with slide since it’s safest in case Bison tries going behind your c.HP attempt (bad recovery).
um the thing is about bison scissor kick traps there are actually 4 ranges you have to learn to know when its a good time to attack or not. the farther the range = higher likelyhood of your counterpoke connecting. try not to attack during meaty setups, if they do like ww cr shorts or hatever, easier to attack with low short/low strong post scissors.
Here’s another one from my battle log. I was just goofing around with f+hk kara throw. While not as good as Ken’s for instance take a look at the range I grabbed Ryu from to close the match at the end of the 2nd round…lol

Thanks for the advice before about Dictator. Yea, I have a pretty big problem with scissor traps. Need to get better at recognizing different spacing and punish options. Any further advice or comments regarding these vids would also be appreciated. Thanks!

That seemed like a regular throw to me. Wasn’t it established that Rose doesn’t have kara throws?
f+hk increases the throw range for Rose. It doesn’t move her forward like Ken’s kara but it’s still decent enough to grab people from surprising distances 
It doesn’t do anything besides reduce your throw range. You’re just throwing them out of their startup frames which increases their hitbox.
Aka you’re grabbing their leg when they c.mk

maybe it can be useful? throw a spark making him think youre gonna do it again then do a psychic soul throw? its risky, if youre wrong leaves you wide open. anyways, enjoy.
I have grabbed people from literally almost half screen distance with Rose’s regular throw as they were executing some long range normal that extended their throwable hitbox. I don’t even know why I sometimes try to throw from that range
Yeah, I’ve grabbed Bison out of his U2 a few times with a soul throw. The first time was an accident trying to do U2 like you said. But after that, I’ve actually grabbed him out of it a few times. The thing is, with the psycho punisher, the player can control how far it goes so it’s not really reliable if they don’t come near you with it. Plus, you can still get hit by it even in the air. For example, bison activates U2, I don’t time the EX soul throw correctly, and I’m off the ground, but still close enough to get hit. So even though it looks like Rose might escape his ultra, you still get hit.
What I like to do sometimes when Bison has his U2 is make it seem like I’m going to throw a soul spark after a knock down but actually do a hp soul reflect. The move is so quick that you can make him waste his ultra and still escape it.

This is pretty much for the comeback in round 2. (Used to play Gen and haven’t got out of randomly choosing stance switches while getting knocked down so excuse the button mashing when I’m on the deck.)

so you mean if i were to ST expecting him to try and cross me up but he holds back so he only goes like a box forward (training mode box) id whiff the ST and land right in his ultra correct?
in the 2nd rd when he activates ultra i just j. hp him out of it. so i think thats probably much more reliable then guessing with ST. probably will use j. hk for range though to be sure i get him.
