Is he saying Jaguar Tooth or Jaguar Kick? I thought the tooth was the wall dive.
well i know the wall dives can be stuffed by s.mp.
the rose here stuffs the flip kick the same way. Only once though.
Neutral jump HK may work better.
Tooth is the flip move, Kick is the wall dive. I had them confused also.
I bet Soul throw is a solid counter to Tooth. maybe even f.HK

And I was totally countering Jaguar Kicks with normal soul throw earlier. Even when it seemed like I should’ve used EX.
Standing mp works well against jaguar kick, and you can cancel it to soul spark and follow with the usual blockstrings. For jaguar tooth, nothing seems to work as good as standing lp.
Also, I think that rising jaguar (the shoryuken) is supposed to be very weak against low meaties, so a meaty slide on Adon’s wakeup should be very effective, but I didn’t test it thoroughly.

If I do some weird goofy psychic stuff in any of these, it’s because I’ve played them before.
Umm… I’m not fantastic or anything but I wanted to let you know that some of your stuff was unsafe. For instance, (close) slide into stand hp is one of your worse possible options. Crouch lp/mp (into link/chain), mk, or grab (including the option select) are your best options. Fighting noob guile’s and bison’s makes it hard to see these things.
Plus, you should be more aggressive on wake-up. Close/mid fireball on opponents wake-up is punishable by any character with invincibility frames. I found out the hard way and now stay on top of them cr.lp, lp, lk, cr.mp, whateva and bait reversals (read: luffy/saqs). The new approach has boosted my BP/PP in short period of time.
yeah, i play down/up to competition a lot. slide into stand hp was definitely a fat finger moment. i’m not nearly as aggressive on wakeup online because of how much one mistake costs her with so little health - eating an EX Headstomp hurts too much.

Haha…I was looking around today too. Seems that Rose is a very underdeveloped character in that regard. I think we’re stepping on new territory, or territory that people dont want to share :rolleyes:
Dude, Rose’s option selects aren’t too different from anybody else’s. I just don’t think they’re very useful.
