From the one I saw…you could have confirmed into super for the win a few times but didn’t. You’re one brave dude also, holding focuses in his face and dash up > throw like three times in a row lol.
Little too many not-guaranteed ultra attempts too, need more baiting and blocking. You have to be kinda careful on offense with her, definitely so with Balrog since his jab can turn things around quickly. Spirals/EX spirals in strings or just when you think you can predict one of his armor moves are good.
Main thing I guess, watching a few more matches, if you’re sitting on a full meter and you get a fairly deep cr.MP, drill to super. I see you’re saving it for EX tricks and sparks, FADCs etc but I really like to get that damage and ease back into runaway/turtle and punish their attempts at approaching me again once things get back to neutral.

This vid here is a good example. The guy got several jabs where he could have combo’d into headbutt > ultra and didn’t. Once that happens to you enough times, sliding all up in Balrog’s grill seems less of a good idea…
Yup, i keep my meter because if rog comes to ultra me, and i’m at corner without ex, it’s hard to get out :.
I guess i shouldnt lp spark when he has meter, often, i was in recovery when he ex dashed :, thus couldnt ultra, and my reaction was off. i’ll probably use full screen mp spark from now on.

Somebody had this in the highest damage combo thread. It’s imposshibibble in a real match to get the damage that high but still cool and there’s a neat little trick at the end unrelated to the rest of the video.
how many EX reps was that? like 10-20? that’d make for some really hardcore/advanced rose ball.
Haha, well one of the local players who’s interested in Rose Ball was talking about trying it in training with unlimited meter and manually keeping track of score. This way you’d get a little more strategy and execution since you’d be FADCing pretty much every Reflect. It’s cool but I think I still prefer match format because you have to earn your meter and it keeps you from being overly reckless.
yeah there would be a lot of problems with doing rose ball in training mode since there’s no timer, there’s no way to KO, there’s no permanent loss of health. Also the only way to get that much damage would be off of an EX serve which really doesn’t add any new dynamic to the game.
