When your firearm is already drawn, you don’t have time to holster it and switch to a taser. A gunshot to the hand didn’t stop Brown, so downgrading to a Taser is downright irresponsible.
Well, thinking about the struggle in the car, you don’t think that given Wilson’s position, Brown wasn’t able to exert the full force of his punches? Punching into a somewhat confined space combined with Wilson probably trying to dodge the strikes probably resulted in minor injuries vs major injuries had Brown managed to get full powered strikes in.
I’m not making any conclusions here, but rather trying to explore the details some more.
This. The evidence we are getting seems to justify Wilson’s actions imo, however it seems to be a misuse of the grand jury system. I have never heard of a grand jury case going about like this one (though I dont know Missouri state laws). Although the protestors are likely mostly complete idiots, the people defending the decision to not indict are glossing over this. The grand jury case does not constitute a trial itself.
I don’t think the evidence we’re getting justifies it. If anything they shed a weighty amount of doubt on his entire story:

The other eye-witness (Michael Brown’s friend who was with him) account doesn’t corroborate with Wilson’s account.

Physical evidence doesn’t corroborate Wilson’s account, but does corroborate with the second eye-witness’. Mostly the released pictures of Wilson’s injuries.

A lot of doubt has been cast on the grand jury process, by many people representing both sides, some within the legal community.

How can you puff your chest out, that to my knowledge 7-8 black witnesses have corroborated wilsons story, out of the 60 that were interviewed? Are we now just assuming the other 52 witnesses had nothing of value to say, or are assumed to all be some of those whose stories had flip flopped over time? We havent heard shit about any of the witnesses who didnt flip flop, or who offered a different valuable and credible narrative of what they saw, that conflicts with some part of wilsons statement.
Cmon son. Sometimes it seems you are reaching too much in this case just to yell at people here. People are in this thread arguing over a fairly one sided point of view about what the grand jury was presented to base their decision over, which has raised huge questionable flags of ethics.
I mean, i get it, we all have our biases, and its hard not to lean on them sometimes, but damn. One cop says this happened to me, and less then 6 percent of the people who were interviewed seemed to corroborate that story, and all of a sudden its absolute truth, even when we know little to nothing about the other witnesses, other then that some of them flip flopped their story. For all i know, some of those 6 percent that backed wilsons story werent being legit themselves. We can assume all day, but just saying, some people in this thread seem to be assuming the best, and for odd, or unknown reasons.

Lets see, we can: examine the pamphlet given to us with all the witness testimony and evidence or go around saying dumb shit because of how you feel. Which is better? The problem you dudes are having is that the state is saying physical evidence backs up Officer Wilson’s claims. This means that, because of the grand jury decision, you guys have to explain why the physical evidence doesn’t. If the physical evidence explains something else then it is on the people who want him indicted to prove it.
I’m not reaching at anything. If you want to show that things were one sided you have transcripts for the proceedings: prove it.
Are you even trying to understand what you are being told at this point? 6 bullets is what you use to protect yourself from a giant person high on drugs trying to assault you. Weaker measures, even just one bullet, don’t tend to work on huge, drugged people during fight or flight, and its well documented.
Who is responsible for Mike Brown’s safety? The answer is first and foremost- Mike Brown himself. And by assaulting a police officer he threw away his own life.

When cause physical harm to somebody with intent to hurt them, yes, its called assault. We aren’t saying that it should’ve ended in somebody’s death, but that once Mike Brown assaulted the officer, he allowed for that to be a possibility. Moral of the Story: Don’t hit cops.
