whether the police dude shot and killed brown in cold violence, at this point should be irrelevant if non police sources are releasing information that paints a clear picture.
Whatever the verdict may be,
the police force should be fined, downsized in the hardware department, and that old shit of a chief should be fired and arrested for impeding justice along with anybody found collaborating, and completely retrained with new legeslation being passed to prevent the bullshit that happened to non rioters.
I’m sure in the minds of the police and white America doesn’t matter if you where a non rioter, you’re still a ungrateful nigger up to no good. so of course the secondary but more important issues from a national perspective will be ignored.
Charging an armed police officer after a struggle and giving up makes about as much sense as shooting an unarmed civilian, execution style, in broad daylight with witnesses. Nothing really adds up, and the evidence released so far is met with immediate suspicion of fabrication. No one is going to be satisfied in the end.
that dude was technically armed. He was walking around with a air rifle. It wasn’t a real gun, but idiot cops and dude who phoned it in, are more to blame in that situation.
My personal feelings? I think there was a good argument, Brown probably tried to punch or attack the cop in his car, and would have made a run for it or something, knowing he had just committed a crime. Cop freaked the fuck out at this giant black guy assaulting him, and started shooting to protect himself. Brown tried to run, got tagged some more, then for some reason decided his only chance was to take out the cop or make him stop shooting, started rushing at him, and got put down.
After looking at the videos, all I can conclude is that this was a horrible accident and have to blame state laws as the root cause (airsoft guns allowed to look nearly identical to real guns, said realistic looking airsoft guns not being sold behind the counter). The caller should have known better and should have some of the blame on him as well, but again this goes back to him not knowing any better either because Ohio’s laws on airsoft guns are stupid. I personally don’t think the officers should be indicted for anything, given the information presented to me, but I wouldn’t blame the family of the victim taking the PD to court over this for some sort of settlement.
The one thing that this whole situation taught me is that news stories in the major media are treated like pop songs. If they don’t chart high enough initially, they’re not going to get air time, regardless of how important they are.
The grand jury has come to a decision on whether officer Darren Wilson should be charged in the death of Michael Brown or not. They will make a public announcement at 9PM EST.
Very smart of them to make the announcement at night. That way traffic can be cleared, kids and students will have time to go back home, and most stores will be closed. The entire nation should be watching on TV.
It’s 99.9% likely he won’t be charged as this case is part of a larger narrative with the headline being “hey we can do whatever the fuck we want and you niggas just have to deal with it we run this bitch!”
The heavy militarization taking place weeks ago should have been a dead giveaway that the decision may have been made weeks ago and everything else is just batman prep time for the expected fall out.
