I gotta admit I’ve only followed this casually but he’s saying stuff like “the testimony of a lot of people didn’t match the physical evidence” or “people changed their stories once we pointed out they couldn’t be true” or “they admitted they didn’t actually see it and just said what they assumed happened.”
I’m not an expert but it sounds credible to me. is there reason to not believe it?

Does it sound credible and reasonable for an armed officer to put 12 slugs into someone who’s unarmed? There’s a lot of evidence that’s likely been suppressed in this case, but the protests are about a long history of violence against black folks and nothing being done. I’m not saying the people that were on the receiving end of police violence were angels, but is it REALLY reasonable to shoot someone 12 times when they’re 150 feet from you and don’t have a weapon?
According to this grand jury, it is. They only needed 9/12 votes not to bring charges and the jury was made up of 9 white guys 3 black.

Are they going to release the video of the robbery? Did his parents make any comments regarding their son’s robbery before he got shot?
Video of the robbery was out about two days after the shooting. The real crazy thing will be the audio recording they have of part of the incident. Things are really tough though because there were 3 autopsies and they all agreed on most points with each other. Best bet of finding actual damning evidence would be to look at the small parts were autopsies differ.
This verdict is very interesting. I want to see who voted on what side.

I havent seen what youre talking about, but who are the people whose stories changed is what im wondering. If theyre saying like 90 percent of the people who came forward for brown had their stories change, then thats something, but there could be hella randoms that came forward and made up shit, being stupid, thinking its going to help the case rather then hurt it. I would need more info then just a lot of peoples testimony didnt match the physical evidence, because for all i know, they were irrelevant randoms to begin with, who are now being used to convince the grand jury there is no case here.
I didnt think he would be indicted, and i wont be shocked when a couple months from now or less, those jurors start getting aired out on the internet or in interviews, and all of a sudden the story changes like it did with trayvon, where theyre like “we wanted to take it to trial, because there was enough reason to believe that he may have shot michael brown after he had given up, but you know, we just didnt”. lol
How much of a slap in the face was that in the trayvon martin case, when mad jurors came out like, yeah, we thought he was guilty, but you know, its all good. lol.
EIther way, there is much to take from this case, and his death will still not be in vain. I dont know what happened that day, but its hard for me to believe a dude went from jacking some cigarillos to reaching in a cop car to try to yank away a cops gun, failing, and then taking off running, only to turn around and charge at the officer unarmed like hes an extra from 300. I know people like to think black people are some black superhuman, violent criminals who will go from stealing some shit and punking the dude at the register, to murdering a cop with his own weapon within the hour, but even for some of the knucklest of knuckle heads, it doesnt work like that, and im not shocked white america doesnt understand that. Not condoning his actions obviously, but just sayin. With no toxicology report, reporting drugs in his system to my knowledge, that seems hella crazy. Even if he was spooked that the cop was about to get him for jacking those cigarillos, most cats would just run, not go from stealing cigarillos to murdering a cop. Those leaps are usually for the insane who have hella previous marks on their record to show that, that was likely the next craziest thing they will do.
Anyways, again, he may be free, but his name is tainted, and much can still be learned from this. Its time that all people, especially black people, get hip to how shit goes down in this country, and stop walking around ignorantly bliss. There are still decades of work to come, but you gotta start somewhere.

The officers in the Walmart shooting didn’t get charged and there was actually video evidence the guy did nothing wrong in that case. Just shot on sight while he was talking on his cell phone but that case just disappeared off the planet.
There is controversy on what occurred in this case but it gets the biggest share of media time.
Most of the folks there are protesting peacefully, and I’ve always been with MLK’s viewpoint on that so that is good. It’s fine if some folks don’t feel that is enough and it escalates because I get the feeling, I really do. I think long term though it just further fucks up our relations with one another
We don’t have to be like them, and by “them” I don’t mean white folks, I mean racists, misguided, miseducated folks. We don’t have to wait for them to catch up, eventually they’ll be so far behind in there ideals they’ll have to get the message. I’m mad but I’m not going to sink down to their level.
