Project Justice- Anyone still play?

I think the Kyosuke glitch was removed in the DC ver. Or maybe just the DC ver. We’ve a Japanese cab here. qcf+sidestep (:lk:+:hk:) basically.

Yeah for Edge, it’s the qcf+:lp: knife + possible followups. It might be possible to have something like Hideo’s air shooting star kick combos or even the Gan infinite.

Edit- Oh btw, I think cab here got reset. :frowning: That, or it’s a JPN DC in a cab. Kurow, D. Hyo, etc. are not available yet. How does one unlock them, again? Story mode? I’ve been an arcade player mostly.

to unlock kurow , i think you have to play all storymodes ( the 6 schools )

then to unlock d’hyp , you have to finish the darkside chapter :slight_smile:

try this with hyo on arcade mode :slight_smile: . you do his air combo ending it with qcf-hp after that do qcfx2 p right after your recover and the AI techs out . see what happen :slight_smile:

yeah, They can safe fall after the secondh it, looks cool though and it’s a High launcher.

you press the forward to turn around, once you see he’s turning then you do the team up.

not too sure how to combo her new kick super, but the thing hits damn hard.

P.Akira is awesome. even though her super once hits once now it’s a lot more reliable than her normal form’s one and P.Akira’s Reflex stance (QCB+P) is awesome in itself since it makes her have different chain.

Reflex stance chain’s

  1. LP, HP, HK, LK* (LK)
  2. LK, LP, HP, HK
  3. HP, LP, LK* HK (HP)
  4. HK, LK, LK, LK, LP, HP

the * means you can link an attack there. I listed what you can link.

Here’s some other combo’s for her. (from some guide lol)

LP-LP-HP-(B)+HP-JUMP-LP-LK-HP-HK-(QCF)x2+HP

(Reflex stance)-HP-LP-LK-(DF)+HP-LK-LK-HP-LK-LK-HP-LK-LK-(QCF)x2+LP

I never knew that Shoma had a taunt stance, it’s hilarious. (b+KK)

^He’s had it since the original RS. :lol: I think it’s his stomp (qcf+k) and slide super that were added in PJ.

Speaking of which, I guess I’ll use this thread to discuss the original too. It’s sort of a 3D XSF with the infinites, but it’s stupid fun too. Arcade disc if you’ve the PSX ver. The Evo disc and the Evo 2 (PSX-only that introduced Nagare and Ran) were boring imo.

project justice… I playd that game to death also on DC.
I loved the character design… more of them shoulda been in cross-over games.

yeah that’s normally doable. you just can’t chain into mose command throws.
Her QCB+P is more like a hit-throw, rather the an a command throw.

eeww no. I’d rather see him in TvC.Im an air combo fighting game person. Games like CvS 2 should not be having characters from games with air combos.

anyone use Boman at all? he seems very “under used” for some reason.

I use boman with momo, The BnB into the half launchers into the team combo for an easy 50% or so combo.

in the arcade i’ve seen a boman player did a juggle combo .

lp lp db.lp , dashXXdb.lp X3 jump lp lp hp qcbx2-p :slight_smile: . the timing is quite strict , he barely able to make it 100% of the combo .

Yes, its related vids were posted a page or two ago. IMO, it’s a mix of good and not-too-good players. Or some might have been mislabeled casuals. Still, the good stuff was worth it.

re:Boman, he is used for his team-up, mostly. It’s been that way ever since the original RS, since it does a lot of damage.

was pretty good, not too great. Maybe a lot of people were rusty. No zaki play though. and all the robertos were meh. Why does momo have to be so strong AND have the strongest assist? lol

The Hideos in that series weren’t too good either, not enough shooting stars and air fireballs, and no chains to his Shin Shoryuken. :confused:

Loved some of the Yurikas though - whiffing the end of air combos on purpose so they can rejump and attempt air throws. :lol:

How’s the timing for the :r::hk: x2 mini-launch? I only get it half the time. The other times the opponent can air recover and block in time.

I had Project Justice for the longest damn time before ever having played it or tech romancer until I finally tried them out a couple weeks ago and loved it. Played the original Rival Schools a lot with some of my friends from high school. Faculty FTW

I think that Hideo player is just one of those guys that walks in and plays in a tourney for no reason. lol

you hit the second F+HK of momo’s juggle when the opponent starts to come down from the first hit. just work with it and you’ll be able to tell the timing pretty well.

But after seeing that combo, I just hate Momo even more now, lol
that little girl is a demon.

truth , i’ve heard many stories about gamers brawled up over this game . I mostly blame her .
i have witness people(friends) quarreling with another player who uses momo after a match .
many of them quit play PJ and focus more on GGXX.

kyoko and kyosuke can be equally annoying too .

the worse turtler is definitely Yurika :wasted: .

the game has like 20 over character but 7 of them mostly for competitive level ;__;

and i want to see more EDIT characters in action . In japan , their arcade cabinet has plug for DC memory card so they can load their characters :shy: .

ryo : you know that nagare combo you done on batsu ? that combo works on roberto too. i remember i did 40 over hits in a match against roberto , they went :wtf:

That’s funny going from PJ to GG. then they probably complain about Eddie.

That’s how it is with most games that have a bunch of characters.

I wish you could use the US Edit characters in Arcade mode on the DC. Hate only playing with them in the tourney mode. :shake:
