Nothing good with Hyo? I like all his supers but only 2 of the 3 he has are actually comboable (QCFx2+P or QCBx2+K). Maybe Hyo is just a battery character for someone else? Easiest combo I’ve done is like J.HK, land, D/F+FP, jump, LP,LK, LK, LK x4, FP -> QCF+FP
the the LK, LK’s in the air can be done up to 4 times (i think?).
Other 2 BnB combos would be J.FK, land, LP, LP, FP, FK -> QCFx2+P or J.FK, land, LP, LK, FP,D/F+FK, jump, LP, LK, FP, FK -> QCF+FP
Other than that, I dont know what else Hyo has.
oh i love , hyo . i think he is the only character that does tonnes of stun damage .
lp, lk, hp, hk, f.lp, f.hp ,qcb-k <— do 2 or 3 of this combo , stun .
I wish edge has better standalone combos. something above 50-60 damage.
However though, comboing into Roberto’s team up is awesome.
his damage is amazing . he is the type that must not be used for offence like momo , kurow , roy or roberto . more like runaway and counter .

advance combo would be this , jump lk lands, lp , lp , hp , qcf-hk -> link qcbx2 k/p . which is hard as hell and does quite a good stun damage .:xeye:
I do the Hyo/Demon Hyo boring stuff. :lol: lp, lk, hk, df+hk, j.lp, j.lk, j.hp, h.jk, qcb+k. If you’re normal Hyo, most people would use air qcf+p.
Huge nerf on his qcf,qcf+K super in this one. Thing was stupidly powerful in the original RS.
Edge has some kinda loop/semi with the mini-air combo and the air knife. I’ll go to the arcade tomorrow and see if I can replicate it, for transcript purposes.
well airQCF+P does 2 hits on opponents in the air. lol
I know you can combo off the air knife if you throw it right.
Hyo’s QCFx2+K super is a good Tardy Counter move since it’s pretty fast. it’ll do more damage if it hits as one too.
man , i want to test all of d’hyo’s advance link combos . such as his double energy sphere super combos and qcf-p -> run and jump hp .
which is hard as hell to time it .
lp lp , hk , f.hp , f.hp , energy sphere super(must be 6 hits only) , quick jump and hp , hk , energy sphere super .

How do you make it so that it only hits six times?
I like Hayato too. Does that super that makes him sparkle some sort of strength power-up? I only remember a basic combo to build energy.
J.FP, land, S.LK, C.LK, then link LP, FP, D/F+FK, jumping LP, LP, FP -> FP Scolding Slash.
If you want to end with a super, just use the same link setup and then end with LP, LP, FP, F+FK -> Push-ups super or Drill Super.
That power-up super of Hayato gives him full Super armor for a few seconds.

I started doing, d+lp/lk, d+hp,qcf+hk, fwd~Roberto’s team-up.
badass looking combo. gotta be pretty close though.
I didnt think he could really combo that super in the air.
yup it does , edge’s air lps give the opponent a slower recovery .

if you do that combo with that angry-teacher-crusher super twice , you would stun the person already . especially momo and kurow .

lk ,c.lk -> lp , lp , hp , df.hk , team up attack with roy/kurow
yeah, it works on other characters, Gan is just more lenient with the distance.
ok how to do it ? right after qcf-hk then you should walk up abit or dash towards after turning around ?
What about Akira/Power Akira Combos?
I noticed that Power Akira’s air combos are pretty short and her air super (QCFx2+P) only hits once now. I personally don’t like that change, but whatever, what can I do? I prefer unmasked Akira now so anything cool with her? I know she has that new spinning kick super but can it be comboed?

P. Akira can mini launch off b+hp. (Or was it f+hp?) It’s still a lot of damage. She can also mini-air combo off her hcb+k grab. P. Akira does more damage on the whole than the regular one. The latter’s supers too hot, imo, but she’s usable, what with floatovers and the usual chains.

I think after his lp,lk, df+hk sequence, he can do j.lp, j.lk, and then qcf+lp, then you can catch then with j.lk on the way down and combo into another knife. I don’t know how many reps you can go though, my rusty self has only got 2-3 so far. :lol:
Anyone know who can combo their party ups? The 3-person supers. So far, I’ve got Zaki (j.hp), Kurow (j.hk), and Momo (f+hk, f+hk, Party Up-- usually it’s f+hk, f+hk, df+hp launch for her). Oh and Kyosuke too, thanks to the airwalk glitch. I do df+hk, then jump + qcf+all buttons (should activate airwalk + Party Up at the same time).

the thing i like about power akira is that ( again ) her stun damage. lp lp hp f.hp qcbx2-p .
as for akira , she got 3 chain combos . db.lp , db. lp , lk/hk or something , which is a 3 hit high-launcher :o . it does quite a decent damage even without the super .

Zaki is another favorite of mine as well as regular Daigo. in Rival Schools, Daigo seemed very limited, but now he can do a lot more which is why i like him in PJ more than RS. I used to use Shoma a lot in RS as well, but now they changed him too and it took some time getting used to his new stuff. Though i do like how his F+roundhouse can lead to supers now.
and i think is rather impossible with that edge’s air combo knife loop . it require very strict timing sequence and the opponent recovers very fast after getting hit by the qcb-lp .

these are akira’s command combo , well because you start off with a front or back lp or hp and cannot be chained from a lp .
the most useless command combos is roberto’s soccer juggle , because capcom forgot to fix it and is a shame that they waste their effort in animating it . the move is like this db.lk , db.lk …
is hard to use daigo in tournament level because HE is LIKE Q FROM SF3.
i’ll add on some interesting combos of him .
lp lp hp hk , b.hk -> qcb-> hk ( juggle combo )
lp lp hp hk , b.hk -> hk
lp lp hp hk , b.hk - . Roy’s team up attack ( shinryuken !! )
oh , his mosouriken( phoenix back-fist) does quite of a stun damage dp-hp . by doing lp , lp , hp , hk , f.hp, dp-hp two times to the opponent , STUN!
