Hey anyone here played that crappy Pm-style āfighterā called Dino Rex? Wow is that lousy(mame).
Crazy thing is it was made in 1992 and Primal rage was made in 1994. Iād hate to think Pm was a rip-off of THAT thing.

Lol yeah Dinorex was a bad game. Maybe they ripped the idea but thankfully not the gameplay.

Well I was messing up with the PR MAT version and found that these versions have quite differences.
Yes, as amazing it sounds there are playable differences. the first one that really strike me back aside from the different inputs for the special moves was the ārevampedā combo engine.
This leads me to think that PR for the MAT2 isnt an emulated game like the MK2 or 3 ports. It can be an entirely new game.
These changes affects A LOT the way the game is played for example: Sauron can now combo EXTREMELY EASY crouched 1 into high 3+4. And the worst (or best) is that he can repeat it. Now if you connect any crouched 1 it means an easy +40% combo. this doesnt break the game (i hope, im still playing) but alters the tier list in such a mannerā¦lol.
i have to note that yes this type of changes do affect the original tier list and game balance butā¦ I LOVE IT!!! It brings so many pnew combo possibilities!!

Damn I aināt played this game in a minuteā¦I remember playing it on PS1 when that first came out but I honestly didnt think it was all that goodā¦just thought it was a knock out of Mortal Kombat lol. It seems most of these obscure games still have life to them the way yaāll talk about them. I used the T-Rex guyā¦it was two of them right?

but i retired everyone who played it with the quickness with blizzard and chaos
Wow this brings back memories. I always used Blizzard because Sub-Zero was my main in MK2. And LOL at Vertigo being bottom tier, he was the one that always kicked my ass in the arcades :mad:
Lol, I remember constantly renting this game when I was a kid, I always used Blizzard because I thought he was the only āgoodā guy out of the whole cast(with Diablo being the obvious evil in my mind). xD, I played it religiously though I could never figure out how to do the fatalities back then.
Read this thread in full and brought back some cool memories, really hope this gets off the ground, as PR/Weaponlord are both further proof that american companies can make great fighters, so take THAT japanophiles xD.
