Ahhh yes, Primal Rage was my favorite childhood game. I got the game for PC. I’m looking at the CD right now…Blizzard with an arm raised screaming…awesome. Was my favorite character next to Sauron.
Sadly after my computer(s) were upgraded to Windows XP, I lost the ability to play this game. I know about DOS-Box and stuff, but didn’t go out on my way to really try it. I might just do it! I really miss playing this game.:sad:
they should make PR2 and had like Giganotosaurus and some other dinosaurs.
Giga is a cool dinosaur, but I’d rather see a different kind of a Theropoda (beast foot) like Spinosaurus or a Suchomimus (crocodile mimic) - http://www.luisrey.ndtilda.co.uk/html/such1.htm
Or have the design crew create another ‘mixed’ dino like they did with Armadon.

Aw yay for PR thread. I LOVED this game as a kid. I always played it at the arcade when I’d go (I played Armadon and Talon). We deff. need some PR updates or something.
Necrosan was actually supposed to be the boss of the first game, but that was scrapped and was going to be used in PR2. There was also a new character that was going to be an incarnation of a Sabertooth Tiger, but the name of the character escapes me atm.
Anywho, long live PR, and here’s hoping for it’s future. <3

Well I did the impossible and managed to convince Pimple for a few matches on PR! Far from our old status this ended up being more of a kids fight lol we looked like button mashers… Just give us a couple of weeks…
Were you playing with control sticks? Or were you using the PS pads?

Anywho, I started a PR forum for fun, so you PR fans head over. It will be a great forum once I get it going, and I’d like for it to lean on the “competitive” side of the game, as all fighting games can be competitive.
I’d also like to have at least 2 more site admins and some moderators as well to help with tasks and such.

I created this PR forum for the sake of letting PR players have a forum to visit and such bc I didn’t think there was one available. Especially with the supposed possibility of Midway possibly bringing the game back with updates according to the HH interview.
I used to post there. They were very friendly but they leaned more toward other kinds of topics than competitive gaming. Still, cool forum and cool ppl!
NEB can you rec some PR matches if available? Even online matches will do. I will love to know how is PR right now over the US.

I was so hyped about the sequel to this game I had dreams about it. My friend had the sega channel and we played the hell out of this game. Lots of fun and I always felt that it was a very visually impressive game for the time.
But does it work? Watch out for posting illegal links to roms or stuff. We dont want to be baned or this thread closed.
Yes, the files work, and Charles from NewChallenger is helping set up the file you need to run it on. The files alone won’t run it, but that’s what Chalres is figuring out.
