CMon you guys gimme a break here lol. I switched to FCP so am exploring new ways of editing. Add that on top of studying Japanese and school, as well as juggling photo shoots and schematics and I have just a lil bit of a full schedule lol.
Can I piggy back on capcom and say 09.29.2009? haha
lolz take your time, none of the ranbats we’ve run so far have been official or anything anyway, so it’s not a big deal. Now the official ranbats, they have to be up by the next day, good sir. >:P
This week I’m planning to start a month of round robin, which will be our final format of testing. Everyone will have until the last Thursday in October to play their matches against everyone else. People who want to enter will have this Thursday (the 8th) and next Thursday (the 15th) to sign up and then I’m closing it down.
For this test run I would like everyone to play as many of their matches as possible at Versis, not only for consistency’s sake but to also make sure we get a good grasp of the matchload that will be required for the format. If schedules don’t work out for Versis a set may be played in person elsewhere/on XBL/etc.
Sets will be 3 out of 5, with 3 points awarded to the winner and 1 point to the loser. The loser’s point is insurance against match truancy to help ensure everyone plays as many of their matches as possible.
This format requires players to keep a degree of tabs on themselves, so if anytime during the month you’re not sure who you need to play against, feel free to get at me on here or at Versis and I will provide you with a list.
I am currently thinking the second Thursday of November will be the beginning of our ranbats. We’ll take the first week to discuss the round robin’s results and what everyone’s format opinions are.
Don’t expect huge differences from week to week. Think of it like working out. First you need to develop the habit, then you need to practice as much as you’re supposed to. Eventually, you get the visible results you’re after.
