Like everyone else G/S Whitney and the twins from RSE are the only gyms I remember having to lv grind for.
When’s Mega Hydreigon with 10 heads?
Spoiler that furry stuff. Dear god some people have nothing to do but do fanart at the drpp of a hat.
Fixed.
That art would’ve been a lot cooler without the up skirt nonsense.
There’s an announcement scheduled for 8 AM PDT. It may not have anything to do with X&Y though
Furries and weeaboos make up such a big chunk of the Pokemon fanbase it’s hilarious.
I’ve always been in it for the gameplay.
That’s a pretty shitty thing to be in it for, given Pokemon’s gameplay.
Not that I’m cumming buckets too often to Slugbox pics or nuthin’, but between that and how Pokemon plays – what with Nintendo and Game Freak doing everything possible to obfuscate the mechanics and make customizing your Pokemon as tedious as possible – I’ll side with the furries. At least they’re getting off once in a while.

Long live the king
Dino Evos were revealed today.
Tyrunt:
[details=Spoiler]Tyrantrum.

Amasaur:
[details=Spoiler]Aurorus.

[/details]
And some Serebii info:
Edit @ 13:42: According to an interview on Polygon, it has been stated that no Kalos Pokémon will have a Mega Evolution within Pokémon X & Y.
Aurorus has a move called Freeze Dry, which is an Ice-type move which freezes the opponent but is said to be super effective against Water-type Pokémon.
14:10: Various details are coming in from impressions at the media briefing last week. Pokémon will gain EXP when a Pokémon is captured. The Pokémon Centers not only have the standard PokéMart, but will also have a place for you to change your outfit
Water types nerfed indirectly?
I love dinosaurs.
FUCK. YES.
About fucking time. I hope Freeze Dry has a larger distribution among Ice types and I hope there are more variations of this attack for other types, like a Poison type move called Pollute or something that is super-effective on Water types.
Ol’ amargasarus isn’t looking too shabby, but it will be a bitch getting it onto the field in tact.
Don’t get too excited, we don’t know the Base Power or move distribution yet. I do like the concept and hope other types follow suit. I think there should be at least 1 Normal attack that should hit Ghosts.
Poison being Super Effective against Water would been a godArceussend and make my year though.
Realistically Poison as a type is not too bad now. The problem is Poison pokes having shallow movepools. Also, there aren’t many offensive Poison types so it is also about stats distribution and coverage moves. Weezing for example has a nice movepool but his stats are more tankish than anything else.
Eww, fuck Freeze Dry. I hope it’s limited to ice types and/or has poor base power. I’d rather not see a bunch of mons with Bolt/Dry hitting everything save for ice Rotom and Magnezone for neutral damage. Freeze Dry + Water has amazing coverage as well.
I’m really curious about the damage multipliers and stats on the fossil pokemon. Aurorus could have some extremely powerful attacks if normal moves get boosted by both Refrigerate and stab. Kyurem should have had refrigerate hehe.
All the biting moves save for Crunch are low base power, so hopefully strong jaw is a 2x multiplier. I wanna use choice band Tyrantrum with some combination of Outrage/(new dragon bite move), Head Smash, Fire Fang, Poison Fang, Crunch, Earthquake, and Super Power. Heck, I might just build a team around Tyrantrum if it’s any good.
Not exactly, Nidoking and Nidoqueen are excellent examples of poison pokemon that are very versatile. King more suited for offense and Queen for defense.
A lot of people forget that Gengar is half-poison and his movepool is very unique. Actually, now that poison-type is not so much the joke anymore maybe he can start utilizing that secondary stab in movesets.
The problem with the majority of Poison pokes is the opposite of the plight of Ice types. Whereas Ice is preferred offensive type but is weak defensively, Poison is a top flight defensive typing with little offensive presence. That, and Poison’s status effect is usually passed up in favor of stronger status such as sleep and paralysis. Not to mention having the ever popular Steel type completely no-sell the Poison status moves and attacks.
Of course with Poison now being super-effective on Fairy, which itself is looking to be a strong typing that should see play in many teams, it should start seeing more play offensively as well as retaining its defensive properties. Being resistant to Fighting, Bug, Grass, Fairy, and itself is really impressive. The only other types with that many resistances or more are Fire and THE defensive type, Steel.
And on top of that, Steel lost two resistances.
Can’t wait to use my Reuniclus again. No more having to use Focus Blast. I feel giddy.
I forgot what two resistances did Steel lose?
Also Tyrunt, I need that in my life.
Dark and Ghost.
Ghost made sense to lose. Dark…did not.
Ghost I understand by yeah Dark is iffy.
