A true MMO made for real? People will never play anything else.
You don’t know how much I hope that’s what it is… Only issue is that it’d likely be on the Wii U.

People have been KILLING for a Pokemon MMO on Console. Nintendo wouldn’t have to worry about Wii U sales if they did that.
nintendo wont have to worry about wii sales once holidays come calling. thats when most of their games seem to finally be dropping.
Hell, even a console main-story game would be an instant moneymaker. Yea, yea, they want to stay true to the Pocket Monster theme by keeping them on handhelds… Screw that. Pocket Monster means “monster in a ball that you keep in your pocket” to me, nothing more. They attempted it with Pokemon Coliseum and Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, but they strayed a little too far from what identifies the handheld games. An MMO, though…? Words aren’t even needed. Just release it and watch the money pile up.
I’m pretty sure they know this already. Here’s hoping they’re keeping both of these ideas in a glass case at GameFreak HQ “In Case of Emergency.”

Seriously. If anything, I’d be WORRIED if they actually got around to developing this. It means they might be desperate and they’re bringing the biggest gun they got.
Everyone developer has the one emergency game they have in the hole to save themselves from certain death.

Hot damn, Sylveon gives no fucks about a Special Attack… Politoed used a Life Orb boosted Hydro Pump, in the Rain, THAT CRITICAL’D, and that little pink boss barely lost 50%… It’s got to be looking at 110 base HP/130 base Sp. Def at least.

Well there are those trademarks for a Pokken Fighters/Pokken Tournament that The Pokemon Company filed… Would be nice if we got a Namco-developed fighter featuring Fighting Type Pokemon.
In my dream world, Ninty would get the creator of Type:Wild and use that template for a 2D Pokemon fighter…
Pokes going SSJ mid-battle? I like it. I know there’s a lot of resistance to it in some circles, but people are always bitching about Pokemon never changing… Well, here you go: A new type, new battle mechanics, streamlined online features, a simplified training method as opposed to the antiquated EV system, in addition to the expected new region, new Pokemon,moves, items, etc.
GameFreak is going all out with these games.
