PC Specs Thread - We're out of beta now

The game is capable of being ran fine
If you are having issues with the same/better rig as someone else’s but their rig is running fine, then it’s not the game it’s your hardware or software
People are going to believe it is the game’s fault. They’ll decide to wait for the next patch to fix their problems instead of trying to figure out why it isn’t working for them, yet someone else with an equally capable pc works
The patch MIGHT fix it, but it might not.
Good luck waiting to find out though when there’s available proof that the game works

Ok i finally got it working , ijust got done playing for 3 hours straight…for testing purposes

If you upgrade to windows 10 and the problem still persist’s uninstall street fighter 5 and reinstall that is what worked for me

Finally it’s time to start wrecking peeps with vega

Haha I’m glad it worked for you man.

thanks

Apparently the lastest Nvidia driver (364.51) fixes framerate issues on Windows 7. I tested it myself and can confirm the game finally runs smooth like the Betas/Windows 10.

Does it improve anything for those on win 10 already?

I’m not sure. I didn’t update my Win10 version, didn’t want to mess anything up lol. If you’re having issues though with W10, give it a shot.

this would be amazing… nvidia to the rescue?
I’ll be able to try it on my PC when I’m actually home on Tuesday.

Oh my god nvidia thank you, it worked!!!

Windows 7, gtx765m, I had all the problems, low fps, wrong GPU used etc

I can confirm uninstalling all older drivers and doing a clean install of the new 364.51 driver has fixed everything for me. It now chooses the right GPU with no screen workarounds and fps are solid 60 at medium settings with Max textures and now able to play at 1920x1080!!

I could cry right now, tears of joy

Anyone getting 2100d error when logging in?

The servers are down for maintenance. 7 hours+

Could this run SFV?

Maybe if you really really crank things down and I mean use mods that make the stages totally barren and stuff.

Can anyone confirm to me: If I want to disable VSync and play on a high refresh-rate monitor to avoid screen tearing, do I need to have an especially souped up gaming rig? Like do I need to be able to run the game on max settings?

EX Will this rig do it: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883102038&ignorebbr=1&cm_re=PPSSRVHEXEKHAR--83-102-038--Product

Nope. Integrated graphics are not gonna cut it. Look for a laptop with a 860M/960M as a bare minimum for GPU. Expect to pay more than $750 if you’re looking to play SF5 on a laptop with reasonable quality.

If your PC was already running the game at 60 FPS then there’s no extra requirements in that regard.

That specific PC will run the game but it will be slightly less than ideal. It can definitely do 1600x900 @ medium (PS4) quality settings. If you’re okay with that then you are good to go. If you want a stable 60 FPS @ 1080p you will need to go for a build with a 950 minimum instead of the 750 TI in that one.

Also, what kind of monitor are we talking about here? 75hz is barely going to help out with tearing. The higher, the better. 144hz makes tearing imperceptible. If you look very closely you’ll only manage to see it on occasion. I wouldn’t go any lower than 120hz if you’re specifically looking to play SF5 with v-sync off.

Thank you! I will spring for an 144hz monitor if I do this.

yes but defenitely not ideal, you would probably get graphics similar but slightly better than below

At what settings can a 960m laptop play @ 60fps?

You will struggle hitting atleast 30fps on low
