PC Specs Thread - We're out of beta now

Hmm, Nvidia released another driver today, which is not something they usually do in less than a month. Sadly, no change in my gameplay. Still waiting for Capcom to patch I guess.

I installed the latest Nvidia driver and then rebooted my pc. Now my network adapter/ethernet cables dont’t work. Thanks Windows 10! :frowning:

The latest driver has support for Gear of War and Far Cry Primal, that’s why it was released that close to the last one.

Oh btw, if you’re on a laptop, making sure you’re off conservation mode (not power saver in the control panel) improves the fps a tonnnnn. I thought my computer was messed up or something at first bc I was getting framedrops from just jumping/using specials lol

as mentioned above (sorry for the double post)
I picked up a 970 yesterday.

no difference from the dual 760’s running in SLI
game still stutters and drops frames.

why capcom. just, why.

I got GTX-970 the game stutters down to 36fps in max, AMD gpu doesn’t seem to have this problem. even r9 380 which is gtx 960 equivalent did not drop down to 36 fps.

I have the gtx 970
Game doesn’t go below 60fps besides after character select screen for like 2 seconds
Not during gameplay

My laptop has a 980m and runs perfectly.

Thinking the reason behind the stutters and frame drops with my desktop (now with 970) is that it has an AMD processor.

Going to try my damndest to drop some science today and run FRAPS / hardware monitoring, try to pinpoint where the problems may be originating.

Anyone have suggestions on software and testing procedures?

for the most part it stays at 60fps. I experience the stutters in the waterfall stage during certain moves & supers moves btw what is your cpu & ram/timings?

I think SF5 runs better on AMD hardware even PS4 is running AMD cpu & gpu. I think we’ve been lied upon when they recommended GTX-960 as the minimum

Intel i3-4160
GeForce GTX 750 Ti
8GB RAM
Windows 7 64-bit

My game seems to run fine in Steam’s Offline mode, but the framerate tends to fluctuate between 50 & 60fps. When I play online I get random freezes that stop the game at 1fps for a second or two. I don’t know what to do to fix those random freezes, because I already tried turning off VSync & messing around with engine.ini settings. I get these random freezes even at low settings.

Returned the 970 - back to running dual 760’s in SLI.

Guess we are all going to have to wait for capcom to fix their shit, as usual.

Where’d you purchase them?

On a side note, if I could refund the game, I would have done it a long time ago.

It’s odd that you’re having a problem with the 970. Most of us here with 970s run the game maxed out at 60fps

I5 4690k
24gb ram
Gtx 970

It’s not really odd when you see that so many people in this thread have hardware that should be more then capable of handling this game just fine yet still have problems.

Exactly my point, there’s not a dang thing we can do with those who are experiencing these issues, but just wait till capcom releases the patch

I ran FRAPS - the game was showing 55-60 FPS but it would tear or stagger during animations.

Basically the same results when using dual 760s.

It’s super weird. But I’m not all that concerned as my lappy runs it fine. Just sucks I gotta hook it up to the big screen in replacement of my already fully capable desktop

what is the specs of your PC

it has to be an nvidea driver issue.i have an amd card and my fps stays at 60 at 1440p in game. i havent seen any other amd users complain.
