PC Specs Thread - We're out of beta now

What’s this ini file editing about? Got a 950 gtx 8gb ram, noticng random stuttering.

I did more testing with gtx 970 the game stay 60fps 99% of the time but drop to 36fps once in a while during certain moves in game in the waterfall stage. this happens on medium, high & max. i didn’t bother testing low.

what kind of amd card do you have?

What settings are you running with in the laptop?

maximum everything.

desktop:
AMD FX 4300 overclocked to 4.4ghz
Geforce GTX 760 (x2, running in SLI)
16GB DDR5 RAM
Solid State HDD’s for OS and game library
windows 10 pro

Any good and cheap PC bundles coming soon guys?

R290x

It stays at 60 fps except during cut scenes, right before the match, witch doesnt really bother me.
i do think the issues people are having should be resolved in a driver update.

Does it normally freeze for a second when finishing an opponent with an ex move?

Same except processor is AMD 4130 quadcore 3.8ghz

feels like crush counters and ex moves in training mode drop like 10ish frames

The Nvidia update that came out the other day. Has it helped anybody?

Win 7. GTX 760, i5 3350p, 8gb ddr3, intel SSD. Running it everything high and textures at max, 1080p. constant 60

Would a fresh install of my os help?

It has nothing to do with SFV so no.

Maybe not. Could Try Windows 10, probably won’t help either though.

Nope. Still waiting on a fix from Capcom’s end.

Anyone getting server disconnects today?

Purchased both a new GPU/CPU today. Game is still unplayable. Fuck you Capcom.

what did you get?

my gtx-970 seems to be running everything fine now on max. But i do know that the recent update is not even for SF5 its for gear of war, far cry primal, dying light. Maybe I didn’t properly instal the last driver for SF5

I run the game with a 760 at maxed settings and I’m getting my constant 60fps. really weird why some people have so big problems with it. at least we know that it isn’t a performance problem. must be something driver related or some specific hardware combiniations which causes these issues.

if it helps anyone, I’ll post my Engine.ini which you can find here:
c:\Users*Username*\AppData\Local\StreetFighterV\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\

[Core.System]
Paths=../../../Engine/Content
Paths=../../../StreetFighterV/Content
Paths=../../../Engine/Plugins/Runtime/CriWare/Content

[/Script/Engine.Engine]
bSmoothFrameRate=False
bUseBackgroundLevelStreaming=False

[/Script/Engine.Renderersettings]
r.TextureStreaming=False

[SystemSettings]
r.VSync=0

make sure to set the file to read-only afterwards. notice that the game needs vsync, so if you disable it in the ini you need to activate some variant in your driver settings, I suggest using adaptive vsync. otherwise the game will run too fast when playing alone. hope this helps you out guys!
