What’s your power supply wattage? All cards have recommended power supplies, you can check that and go with the best. Gtx 950 is a great lower power option for this game.
Thank you for your input, Ellipsen.
So, as said above, I am not smart about all this, and I had no idea about this Power Supply, so I started some research.
I was checking the bill from when I bought the PC in 2013, and there says “750W 120mm SILENT” - I myself don’t find it “silent” lol
Then I was checking the specifications for the GTX 950, and there stays that the minimum would be “350 W”.
So I think I am good to go, aren’t I?
So, just for an update… thank you all for your input. I just decided to give me this as a Christmas Present.
Tested already MKX and now I can run the game with all settings on High/Maximum.
Thanks again.
Pre order the game. if you’re on pc then pre order via steam and you will be able to get in
Question, If I i want to put the game at a higher video settings and i go from 50 to 40 frames per second… will that make 2 or 3 frame links harder to connect? I’m sure this may be a stupid question but i was just curious on the matter because this is the first time i’ll be playing street fighter on pc.
I’m very curious to see how my Power Color v2 Radeon HD 7850 2 gig version and Phenom II x6 core 1055T v2 @2.8 (3.3 turbo) will run it. I’m thinking medium settings 1080P. I heard people say I can run it at high settings, but I have to see it to believe it.
My PC meets the minimum requirements (i3-4160 is specifically listed in the official Minimum Requirements), but I still had problems getting stable 60fps even at the lowest settings. Last time I played the Beta Stress Test my resolution was 1080p. Maybe changing it to 720p would fix it? I don’t remember if I set the Beta to 720p before that.
I hear this stress test was a little better optimized so give it a shot again and see what happens. I just got into the PC beta, so I wouldn’t be able to tell you either way.
It is. It loads way faster off my SSD than beta 2 did. Graphic performance seems about the same, but impossible to tell without a benchmark. Loading is much faster though, they’ve definitely done some optimizations in that regard.
I still have framerate problems. I changed my resolution from 1080p to 720p and even 480p, but it was still unstable even in the lowest settings. I’m enjoying SF5, but I feel so fucking salty because of the performance issues. I can’t afford a PS4 nor an Intel i5/i7 CPU right now.
