PC Specs Thread - We're out of beta now

Anyone on the PC beta running dual monitors? My second display seemed to be blacked-out the whole time I was playing. Any work-arounds?

edit: Should add rig info for people who are curious.

i5-6600k
Geforce 970 gtx (4gb)
16 gigs of RAM
Samsung 850 evo SSD
Everything pretty much maxed, looks and runs badass.

Well… since my card is not here yet, my HD 5670 can run the game on lowest settings at 60fps. 800x600 resolution lol.

Can play the game just fine, it just looks ugly as hell.

try running the game in borderless/windowed

I have the MSI Ghost Pro with 970m (laptop). I can run 1080p 60fps no framedrops. All settings maxed (recommended)

Just bought an gtx 960 just for the game and everythings fine until today… Critical art with Zangief the game slowed down like a motherfucker…

Capcom said recommended 960 what the hell?

Did it happen only once? If it happens every time when you get a Critical Art try turning Anti Aliasing to Low.

Game ran suuper slow on my old GT640. At 1440x900, game felt great on low settings (very responsive), but obviously didn’t look good. Even if I bumped it up to medium, it was dramatically worse. Did not test with anti-aliasing off.

My new graphics card just arrived today and I just installed it a few minutes ago (r9 380, substantially more modern), will give it another shot. But I wonder if it’s an optimization issue, since I have AMD CPU instead of Intel. I think the earlier versions of Rising Thunder ran into that issue, or at least that’s what I gathered from the messageboards.

Runs well on R9 380. It’s slightly better than the GTX 960, but they are in the same general weight class.

Specs:
AMD Phenom II x6 1090t (3.2ghz)
Radeon R9 380 (4gb)
12gb RAM
running at 1440x900

For reference: at max settings the SSF4 (last one before Ultra) benchmark would run at about 200fps and Rising Thunder would run at 85-90 fps. I doubt I’m getting much better than 60fps for SF5 (no way to tell, really). Not sure if this is an optimization issue or if them’s just the breaks.

I5 3570k @ 4.4, 8gb ddr3 @ 1866, r9 290x

Havent noticed a single framedrop at 1080p and all settings on recommended, however its unclear if that is highest setting. Youd expect recommended to be some kind of auto detect, but then theres an auto detect witch defaults all settings to medium for me so its pretty confusing. Also havent been able to try anything but training since i cant get any matches

Check your graphical settings, you should lower AA. Your RAM might be running slow as well.

but why would I turn anything to low if I just bought that card bc they said thats what I needed?

How do I know if it is the RAM?

What are the specs of your pc other then the gpu?

im not at home right now but from what i remember:

amd phenom II 965 3.4 quad

8gb ram ( hyper something)

msi gtx 960 2gb

Should be fine tbh. I wonder if its streaming anything of hd during those cutscenes. U have an ssd?

i5-2500K (3,3 ghz)
HD 6950 2 GB
8 GB DDR3
Win7 64-bit

I was prepared of getting low results and FPS (though getting new PC in 2016).

But default settings were Medium for everything and I’m easily running solid 60 fps. I’m I can participate right in the launch.

No ssd. but no, the pc is a new windows install. It happens only when zangief does the ultra, close up part.

CPU: Intel i7-3930k
GPU: GTX 980 Ti

I can run the game on maximum settings with no drops at 1080p and 1440p. At 4k is when the FPS finally drops and hovers at around 40-50. Took some images of the game running at 4k if anyone is interested.

Laura @ 4K doe…

I5 6500
8 gb ddr4 2133 MHz ram
Gtx 760 2gb

Can run the game on high everything with depth to far and the other value (forget the name at the moment) at 87. Game runs flawlessly. No ssd and load times are pretty fast on boot up through steam as well.

Because a 960 is capable of running it but you have to understand you are buying a low end card. You have to mess with your settings a bit depending on the rest of you pc hardware. Just lower some settings and you will be fine.

Trying to play the sf5 beta, I connected my ps4 TE2 stick, but the game/steam does not recognize the controller even though in device manager the computer recognize it. How do I get it to work with steam/sf5?
