I dont think so, tried bumb up the settings a bit and it still performed the same. Actually I think it looked better but the brazil stage bg characters looked so bad.
All settings were set to Medium and i was getting 60fps and it never dropped below 56fps. I’m fairly positive i could raise the settings higher with no issues but i was very happy with the graphics as is.
I believe I’ll be able to run it smoothly at 60fps and 1080p at mid settings. I’m planing to upgrade the GPU to a GTX 960 or 970 next year depending on budget and other games I’m interested in playing.
However for the purpose of SF5 alone, would a 960 be enough to run it smoothly at max settings? Or should I play it safe and go for the 970 straight out?
I was under the impression that High was the maxed out option and Recommended either set your graphics for you depending on your hardware or is something otherwise not maxed out.
Res scaling should (theoretically) always look better at 100 than 99 as 99 will produce repeated pixels somewhere. Could be placebo or just a bug if you feel 99 looks better.
Hallo guys,
as I am not so smart when it comes to computer specs & co. I’d like to have your help hier.
My PC (with the Specs below) can run SFV Beta pretty nice - so I think - as long as it is not 1080 and the options are set to mid and/or low. And I only have “real” problems when going to the Forgotten Waterfall area.

(I hope I posted all the needed info)
My question is, can I simply buy another NVidia Card to replace that one? Or when changing the Graphics Card, should I also change other things?
The Card could/would be one of these:
Yes you can. 750 ti is the best out of those and can get you medium settings at 1080p with some frame drops in cinematic situations (nothing affecting gameplay). Very close to (if not equal) to PS4 performance. That being said going from a 650 ti to just a 750 ti is pretty expensive for a minor bump if you can’t sell off the 650. This may be your only upgrade but in general keep in mind that doing minor incremental upgrades like this continuously is a huge waste of money compared to just getting 1 nicer card for a longer period of time. I would honestly recommend spending at least $35-40 extra for a 950 as that is really the “current” budget card and will be far better in consistency. You shouldn’t upgrade until you’re going to actually start playing SF5, though. Wait until February to buy a GPU as prices and choices will likely be better by then. The best time to buy/upgrade a PC is when you’re actually gonna use it.
Thank you a lot for you answer, Swarn.
But wouldn’t be a 950 too strong for my computer?
My “fear” is that, once I buy such a strong card as the 950 I will also need to buy some other parts for the computer.
what are you guys paying for these budget cards? I got a used msi 760 for 110 of ebay. If you aren’t opposed to buying used from reputable sellers, go the ebay route man.
