PC Specs Thread - We're out of beta now

Will see if I can stretch to this. http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/7559-8045-Dell-Inspiron-15-7000_1856981.html

Are there any problems with 960m cards?

CPU: Xeon X5650 @ 3.8Ghz
RAM: 8GB
GPU: GTX 670 4GB

Everything fine can run at max settings. But uses 330Watts, so lowered to “high” which drops power usage to 250Watts.

BTW: Why doesnt the PC version have access to the shortcuts system :bawling:

What do you mean a shortcut system?

Its in that youtube video.

In training mode you can assign buttons to do stuff like restart training mode, battle position, guard setting all by without going in to the menus.

Looks like they didnt add the feature for PC. Its unfinished.

How would a stock i7 2600k, 16 GB ram and a SC 750 ti run this? Would it handle 1920x1080 or would I need to lower the resolution? As long as it is playable. (60 fps)

I’m building a better setup later in the year after I get done with taxes. Would I be able to use the above setup as a stopgap until then?

you should be able run the game 60fps on medium settings just fine at 1920x1080
for sure 100% on low settings
you’ll get like 2-3 frame drops on high

Intel i7-4720HQ
Nvidia 860m
60fps on Medium 1080p

Where are the updates from capcom? When is the damn patch coming? A friend of mine can’t even play the game with a realtively beastly system. The FPS just drops to 25 frames everytime. Capcom you are offically ripping people off until you fix this fps drop issue!

I have a 970. Havent checked my FPS honestly but it runs great and the 970 is a pretty cheap card these days.

The GT 8800.

I was taking a look to the GT740 as in San Google some forums people say the GT740 is better than the GT8800 (that card was the bomb back in the days sweet memories)

please use the pc specs thread for this kind of thing, merging

I am glad to read that kick ass card is still alive, I had friend who always was proud of that card back in the days.

Hello guys I am well aware the specs for the SFV all related to Nvidia GTX, however I have seem some videos on YouTube of people claiming they have playing using Nvidia GT730/740 but they do not provide many info, so for those who are playign with at card is it worth it to buy and what is the maximum/minimum FPS you get?

Disclaimer.

Before some smart people start shooting at me, this thread is for those who have questions as doubt, so I am not afraid to play dumb or make questions so please do not be mean play nice.

Sorry dude my bad.

$300 is not cheap lol
$300 is the price of a ps4

i5 3570k
16GB RAM
R9 290X

Runs 60fps locked completely maxed out at 2560x1440. Honestly as a fighting game i wouldn’t expect anything less

Keep in mind that a 750 TI is weaker than the GPU in the PS4 and that even the PS4 drops frames here and there. Some times certain games perform better/equal on the 750 TI but that is usually when the better CPU’s on typical PC’s kick in. SF5 is very light on CPU and as such the 750 TI isn’t gonna cut it for medium (aka PS4 quality) @ 1080p.

That being said, I know that a 2GB 750 TI can pull off 900p @ medium for consistent 60 FPS. Performance at 1080p might be less than ideal.

I think sf5 is more cpu heavy than gpu heavy
I5 650 with gtx 970 ssc couldn’t run consistent 60fps even on medium settings

Not exactly the best comparison but I can only say through personal experience
A lot of people are posting cards weaker than the 750ti and getting constant 60fps 1080 medium settings
