PC Specs Thread - We're out of beta now

Hahahahahaaha Yes I would indeed. My GPU is not so great.

My current rig is pretty dated, and I’ll be building a new one in maybe a year and a bit. I’ll hold out to see what’s good for the new rig

Wow thank you soo much. Runs much flawlessly now

Why is it on a stock overclocked i7 2700k that this game eats up to 45% of my CPU? That’s ridiculous.

The .exe simply freezes on launch for me in this case.

Everything maxed at 1920x1080 and run smoothly

i5-6600k @4.2G
GTX980 EVGA Superclocked
16G ram
Win 10 64bit home

So disappointed.
I had a GTX750 on a Windows 10 Home
Intel® Core™ i5-6500 with 8GB Ram.
After playing the beta I decided to upgrade to a gtx970 and to add +8Gb as bonus to enjoy the game at max setting.
The beta was running perfectly on highest setting and I was looking forward to enjoy the game after the release.
But now the game have very big slowdown and I have to go back almost to the setting I used with my gtx750.
It’s so salty.
Trying to uninstall things and stuff…

Game is running a steady at 1920x1080 60FPS with all videosettings maxed. I’ve manually disabled Post-Processing through the .ini configuration file.

i7 2600K @4.4GHz (overclocked)
GTX 960 2G (overclocked)
16GB RAM
Windows 10 x64

I7 4790k

970 sli

16gb of ram

Maxed out everything 60f

Not in Australia :frowning:

Does the game take full advantage of 4 cores? That’s the only thing I can think of that’s hurting me at this point. The game runs about the same regardless of what settings I use, it’s 60fps if I’m standing still, but as soon as things start happening it drops as low as 45. I have a 970, so the GPU is not the bottleneck here, especially considering it’s not drastically different even at 720p/low vs 1080p/max.

My CPU is a g3258 oc’d to 4.5 ghz, which if the game is using 2 or fewer threads, should give me identical performance to an i5 at the same clock speed, but I do see my CPU getting pegged in task manager.

I’ve tried basically everything to make the game playable. Changing settings, inis, quitting absolutely every other app, reinstalling drivers, etc. I’m about to give up and see if a future patch can solve this issue.

GPU is not a problem for the game since the 750ti can run it 60fps
It’s more CPU intensive than GPU

i5 4690k
24gb
gtx 970

running everything maxed constant 60fps in 1440p with 1 frame drop rarely

there are vids of i3s and 750ti running game 55-60fps

did you try updating your driver?
theres a new NVidia driver for the game
close/uninstall GeForce experience
how much RAM do you have?
8gb is a must for this game

Yup, I installed, then later fully deleted and reinstalled the latest nvidia driver. I’m running 8gb ram.

So it does actually take advantage for 4 cores in the CPU then?

I don’t know the definite answer to that, but I can tell you the gtx 970 is more than capable of running this game
you have 8gb
the only thing left is the CPU

This is the best looking fighting game ever in my opinion.

Can I start the SF2 vs Alpha 2 vs Alpha 3 vs 3S vs Ultra vs V thread

mods get me back

We should wait a little bit before making quick judgements about the game. There might be new tech that people still haven’t figured out that will make it more fun.

Nice, first 3 online matches, all 3 wins. Yay I am da best kappa.

Trying to unlock colors, any tips as Laura vs Bison in stage 30? This guy is crazy.

ya’ll act like when SFIV came out, 3s and ST players weren’t saying “this shit’s Street Fighter EX 4. Game’s gonna die quick…”

A lot of this shit takes time to develop. The reason most fighting games die quickly is nobody has the patience to wait it out for the first year or so for people to figure shit out. The final release is less than a week old, give it a second.

Try to stuff his attempts to get in if you can. Watch closely and see if he’s going to psycho crusher, scissors or headstomp and react accordingly.

Pretty much. I think a lot of people here forget that if it wasnt for SFIV, there would be no SFV today…
