Well i tested the game with VSR 1440p on a 1080p screen and the steam fps counter. In matches it never appears to drop, but in between, in menus and during cut scenes it does. But then again it did that at 1080p too. I find it hard to play a game and keep an eye on the fps counter though, i guess i would notice slowdown if it dropped frames during a match?

Oh yeah, after closing the game i always have a popup related to a memoryadressing error. I think theres a memoryleak that needs patching, anyone else getting this?
i updated the drivers to latest but ive seen sfv videos on youtube with 860m and playing it freaking smooth, unless its playin on integrated gpu not sure how to change that
hrmm so your experience just randomly changed?? Now im wondering if somethign else is going on, because honestly I was surpised at first when I played it. it defaulted everything to medium for me, but it was playing at max resolution and full screen, and no frame drops what so ever. I was in training mode… But then when i picked a stage like karin with ken. Holy fuck unplayable. Like took 30 seconds probably to wait for kens V trigger to finally end it was going so slow… I tried messing with the scaling but anything like then a 100 scaling my game would freeze and I had to restart. I tried going to lower resolutions and I thought fixed it, but again just randomly if im on a stage with a lot of crap on it I guess my game would just slow down for like 30 seconds at a time. Got some original virtua fighter action going on it was so slow. Actually even slower than that…
Im tempted to mess with it some more, but I guess steam only takes the game back if youve played under 2 hours? And im already worried im at that since it I was already fiddling just in the options trying to get my controller to work in the first place for awhile. lol
So I downloaded that Razor game booster app to see if it’d stabilize it a bit and shut off some of that background crap I don’t really need running (mainly cause I’m lazy I could have done it manually) but I got it back to max with no frame drops but tbh I didn’t stay on super long to really put it through the paces.
With the focus being on competition I don’t know if I should be messing with things too much yet. Only thing I feel comfortable doing for right now is killing motion blur. That’s just unnecessary resource usage, I don’t even like it.
Looking forward to the “get the most out of SFV visually” guide.
