Saw a prescreening of this on Monday, it’s the best summer blockbuster yet.
I hate 3D but this was just amazing in 3D, it really really adds to the experience.
No only at IMAX or in some cases if the cinema has a premium seating plan which might include drinks service, leather chairs, foot massage and a happy ending.

I’d take some Monsterarts scale action figures myself. The ones from NECA are ok and fit in scale a little I guess.

Is this the kind of 3D that gets in your face or is it just spatial?
There’s small amounts of “in your face 3d” (very small) but for the most part, it’s spatial. It really adds to the fight scenes and the water effects.
So let me put it like this: Standard: $10.50 or IMAX 3D(17.00). Is it worth the additional price? I will see it tonight, just not sure how to see it.
I am going to be foregoing 3D, mostly because I fucking hate 3D like Kris Jenner hates proper parenting.
Yeah, but the problem is that all movies that are released in IMAX and have a 3D component will always be IMAX 3D.
Our local theater has an “enhanced viewing” theater that isn’t IMAX but it’s a extra large screen and specially tuned sound system. That’s good enough for me.
Got my tickets for tonight at the IMAX. Can’t remember the last time I was this stoked to see a movie
So what are the chances that the Australian mecha with the kill count of 11 (on the promotional material) gets destroyed in some terrible manner that leads to the American Mecha having to step up and save the day?
