My suggestion is that verbal threats are grounds for immediate explusion, same as fighting, shoving, or any other form of intimidation. In game trash talk “I’m going to pwn your sorry Ryu…”, “You’re going to lose so bad…” is fine. Anything out of game should have a zero tolerance policy.
I’m soooo excited for this!
I’ve got a guitar hero guitar and drum set that can be used as controllers in case of emergency. The fret bar is wired to 360 motion, so you can play a pretty mean zangief by strumming “Born to be Wild”.
REMEMBER: TODAY IS THE LAST DAY OF PRE-REGISTRATION
DON’T BE LAZY, IT’LL COST YA!!! (5bux)
Let’s not be all soft in this tourney… just pay attention to who your talking shit too. If you really dont know somebody, dont talk shit to them. Its that simple. Cause if you come up to me talking shit and i don’t know who the hell you are, im gonna take it at face vaule, as anybody else should.
that makes sense but its a video game tourney, anyone wanna act hard really doesnt need to be inside the tourney hall considering we are going to have alot of electronic equipment at risk if things were to escalate beyond even your usual level of smack talking. plus its just nasty and could fuck our scene over while we’re tryin to build it up.
Talking some shit has nothing to due with being hard or someone pursuing to act hard. I talk shit b/c its usually fun with the people i talk shit with. as all talking shit should be.
agreed.
I think we all know the differences between shit talking and hostile language/actions. We aren’t going to see anything beyond, “YO MAGNUS IS WEAK SON”.
i’m kinda glad i’m not going now, because I would’ve gotten escorted out along with super joe because all we do is talk shit to each other…it’s pretty much how all of our conversations go.
You should let your gameplay do the talking. This isn’t casuals.
If it’s someone you know, then do it in good nature. Someone you don’t, keep the shit to yourself. It’s a tournament. We don’t want to become known for stupid shit. Show respect.
Shit talking is fine. Talk all the shit you want. If your causing a problem, you’ll be asked to stop.
Don’t tell someone you are going to kick their ass (literally) or they are dead after the tourney.
I think it will be pretty simple to figure out.
What if i were to tell super joe, i’m going to blow some coke in your fucking face?
Did anyone send a notification to Penny Arcade? It’s late now, I realize, but I dropped them a line.
Next year I think it would be key to have these peeps dropped a mail.
…
Being as how they kick ass and all.
Yeah fuck you bitch!
I just payed for Thomas Ohashi… otherwise known as rabbitjuice… He is playing GGXX AC and VF5.
People can say whatever they want. Just don’t start shit or threaten to start it seriously.
I started writing and email to Tycho 3 months ago. Then we had the date change and I figured we should get shit nailed down before asking Penny Arcade to mention us or show up. Never got back around to it. :xeye:
It would be bomb is they showed up.
Lets just kill the whole violence thing this: Anybody willing to fight at the tournament, it will be taken that you are willing to fight me. Any questions? good, will make my job easier on saturday.
So, it seems that no longer living with la familia grants me very limited access to the Mexi-Van. My dad uses it on the weekends to haul a bunch of mexi fries for various outings, so getting it may prove to be more difficult than I had previously thought. If not I will make it up somehow, by bringing an PS2 or something.
Wow. 55 Pre-registers. GG:AC players really threw down the fuckin gauntlet.
