There was something i remember hearing about this, the reason why Chinese ignore those things because there is a chance of them getting in trouble for helping or something like that. I forgot the details. I just watched this, the fur coating industry in china, and that shit that went down in Kenya and I’m seriously depressed/disturbed right now (i couldn’t even finish the rest of the 2 videos). It gets me pissed that people would just post shit like this in forums or in their facebook walls and not take any interest/plan in doing something to end that shit.
It really sucks that this video and the kenya video is “a video post of the month/week”, videos like that should be posted to bag people into fighting end ending that shit. Which is what i want to do.

Reasons this doesn’t surprise me:
- Asian parents are negligent to an absolute fault when it comes to letting their children out of their sight. I watched a child in Korea run 100 feet in front of their parents on a winding street in Seoul, and the streets there are already dangerous narrow and winding as it is for an ADULT to be walking on them, let alone a 4 year old.
- In China, crosswalks do not give you the right of way, just Frogger freeplay. Crossing lights, no crossing lights, what’s the difference. It’s definitely not “Pedestrians have the right of way” here, but “Whoever honks the most and the loudest has the right of way,” so unless you’re Bozo the Party Clown, you better say your prayers before crossing the street here.
- Sidewalks =/= to safety. I can’t even begin to joke about that sidewalks are invisible road lanes, because it’s true here. I can be sauntering along a sidewalk here, minding my own, then audibly 3 feet behind me “HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONK!” and there’s some retard behind me in a SUV waving me off to the side like I’M not supposed to be on the sidewalk, and he is.
- Turn signals are not supposed to be turned on until AFTER you turn here. No, I’m being serious, shut up.
- I have no clue why they put white dotted lines on the streets here, because people just straddle the middle of them. My grandfather did this when he was becoming senile, and got tickets. The Chinese do this and it’s called defensive driving. Defensive = THIS IS MY TURF NIGGA NO ONE GOES PAST ME ON MY TURF! My only assumption on why they put white lines is so they don’t straddle the yellow median lines.
- My assumption was wrong, they straddle the median too. The median is another invisible lane. Which also, coincidentally, is where pedestrians (even in a crosswalk) have to stop to wait for the vehicular zombietards to stop coming so they can finish crossing. So I’m guessing there’s achievements for hitting pedestrians here. Hit more than 50 in one year and you get an ice cream truck that you can shoot napalm from? Has Twisted Metal ever had a China stage? If not, they’re sleeping on the possibilities.
Honestly, Chinese drivers give Asian drivers a bad name. I would rather ride with my North Korean refugee friend who does 100km/h in a 60 zone in and around Seoul than be anywhere near a car in China.
I think they should find the owner of that van (license plate) and have him sentenced for murder. Fuck being an accident. He stopped after the first tire went over her then later on continued anyway.
The driver should be arrested for hit and run but who knows what kind of laws they have in China. They’ve got people working 15 hours a day at plants like it’s nothing.
Sad that the little girl ended up dying. What the fuck, humanity?

To be fair, the guy apparently looked homeless and in the I’m homeless/cracked out position. I wonder how obvious the
"pool of blood" was or was that dramatic license? The guys first stroke of bad luck happened when noone saw him go down in the first
place. In NyC we step over homeless people who are dead/sleeping/cracked out in that position day in and day out. It is sad, but honestly
if I didn’t I’d never make it to work on time.
A kid though would attract immediate attention, even a cracked out homeless kid.
Except here it’s not to avoid starving to death.
