Ono has interest in working with Street Fighter Alpha series again

BEAT HIM UP, GUY!

TRIUMPH, OR DIE!!!

Hello,I have heard that a new version of street fighter alpha might be launched?
I like street fighter alpha series and then ex series more that other series.
I like it when the dictator does a psycho cannon move.I hope this move is not removed in the new version of street fighter alpha.thanks

I hope it will be Alpha 3 MAX HD Remix

who is marvel then?

and whens marvel?

That’s the art direction, Alpha doesn’t need to copy their style

Alpha 3 MAX HD Remix 2013 edition
This is the most likely of the alpha games to get ported IMO. I hope dramatic battle comes back and World Tour with online mp!

The announcer was great, lol but he sounded very close to the ST announcer just more digitized. 3S still has the best announcer IMO

I think he’s there to troll attention for games, and that’s about it. Capcom pays him a couple hundred a month, travel and lodging, and occasionally gives him a new Blanka figurine when he’s licked/fondled the paint off of the last one’s jeans. Despite how cold an angry japanese boss can be, they just don’t know how to get rid of the guy…it would be like kicking a toddler in the face.

Someone is a grumpy gus.

ALPHA 4 WITH SPRITES

OH MERCIFUL GOD LET THIS HAPPEN PLZ

I feel hungry now

Jesus Christ if you think this is even close to being true you must play nothing but A+, top quality games. That or you’re 09er garbage.

I don’t even know what’s going to happen next. I played SFA2 a lot when I was younger and I frequently played SFA3 during high school. As of now, I believe that SFA2 was, more or less, solid. I thought SFA3 was fun but I quickly realized how easily broken the game was.
If Ono… intends to update the series… I really hope him and other staff members know what they are doing.

The sprites were great but damn I don’t need Charlie looking as if he couldn’t scratch his back let alone move swiftly. Clark and Ralf look ridiculous.

A2 was some dumb shit, too, but more boring. You had four very good characters, stupid customs that can do 25% damage off one level of meter, and alpha counters that did decent damage and killed. At least A3 was way more fun and toned down the fireball damage.

I don’t know how anyone can be sane and fix their mouth to say: “Street Fighter Alpha 2 sucks,” and then say: “Street Fighter Alpha 3 is good.”

To be honest, I don’t know why y’all want a “Street Fighter Zero 4.” I don’t.
As much as I would like to see Charlie (who should’ve been in TvC/MvC3 as the Alpha/Zero rep!) again, we ain’t going to see him again in glorious 2D sprites.

This is post-2009 Capcom we are fucking dealing with.
It’s like Capcom vs. SNK 3 all over again…

This is literally the best answer to anything, ever.

shittyfighter4 with alpha counter and CCs?

no thank you :annoy:

Well he’s definitely not an 09er. Decide for yourself whether that’s a good thing or not.

As for the Alpha series, I give 0 fucks. None of the 3 games are that much alike other than having multiple supers at once and the same art style. All three games have enough flaws to be undesirable to some if not most. Alpha 4 would likely be no different in that regard. Being a Neo-Capcom game wouldn’t change the outlook on it at all. It would get the same scrutiny and the same love/hate relationship as the previous Alpha games.

DOUBLE POST

… As a matter of fact, I don’t think this is a good idea at all. I mean, SFIV already made things kind of weird as it is. Not that I am not trying to be cynical or mean, but the way Capcom has been handling things as of late has been sloppy.
I mean…
The blatant comeback mechanics that revolves around the character actually losing the match or getting ass kicked?
Gems? This could have been so much better but the execution was just… crazy. To the point where they should not be implemented.
3D models, some of which look rather strange or have unusual animations? The cost of sprites are high but I would much rather have them instead… One would think that Capcom would the budget to achieve such a task.

Or maybe there is an entirely different plan altogether? I don’t know. I may as well remain indifferent about the whole thing. For me, this is a matter of morbid curiosity.
