Dunno if is was already posted… Couldn’t find such a thread… What do you think of it? Would you like a Alpha 2/3 HD Remix or even an Alpha 4?

Alpha 2 is one of the most boring games in existence…Alpha 3 could work out if they fix crouch cancels and some other issues, like fireballs being crap.
The only “Ono is interested in…” news I would consider relevant is “Ono is interested in lying in the middle of the street and letting a steamroller flatten him” or maybe “Ono is interested in seeing if he could fly after taking LSD and will be testing his hypothesis from the top of the Capcom offices”.
I liked the style, so yeah.

I’ll take an Alpha 4 if it uses sprites only. CCs will be destroyed, though, if they’re included at all.
If A3 is redone, just give us the Upper version and give us the arcade version and remix version. Crouch cancels will be removed for sure and that will Nerf a few characters but whatever. Don’t remove Zangief or Akuma OTGs!
As long as they use a different art direction and keep shitty gimmicks like gems out, I might buy. And if its a re-release, I’d buy that too

Anybody do that Capcom survey on digital games?..most of it was Would you like to see: Digital Editions or Digital Compilations of games…then when it got to the Alpha games it was
"Would you like too see a new Alpha game using Alpha 3 as the basis while adding new characters" something like that. Seemed oddly specific…
Another version of upper ugh. Probably, a console version of the psp version they don’t have the old sprite artists anymore only characters they could bring would be from CFJ (like Ingrid was) and that only leaves Alex and Urien.
Outside of rereleases [updated and such], I honestly don’t think there should be any new Alpha games, much less one tackled by Ono

If they do make an SF Alpha 4, please add some 3S characters. Young Dudley, Alex, Q and Ibuki would be awesome.
Alpha 2 (minus Custom Combo bullshittery) was the last Alpha that actually felt like an sf game.
Make air tech 1 button, get rid of v-ism/custom crap, make characters a decent size, lose 3’s crappy art in favor of 2’s art style (heaven help us if it’s the same person…that would be like Joe Madureira becoming Rob Liefeld). And lose the boring, utterly forgettable house/techno/industrial/whatever-the-fuck music.
I would also like to see this come to realization. Hopefully the game stays true to its roots.
That, or a better Alpha 3 port. Either is fine with me.

I dunno, if they are serious about revisiting the alpha serious, even if it were an alpha 4, it seems just as unlikely to me that they would create novel models for a series that hasn’t been touched (beyond repackages) in 14 years, nor does it seem very likely that they would just borrow SF4/Marvel3 models. seems to me most likely they’d just use alpha sprites with some goofy OE style filter
