What the fuck is Alpha?
The Drunken Uncle of the SF Series. Either you hate him alot or you love him alot. SF2 is the WWII Vet who everyone loved, 3S is the edgy teenager everyone hated but grew to love once he started a technology company in college and became a millionaire, SF4 is hard-working son who takes all the AP classes he can but people still call him “braindead” and SFXT is the ugly junkie son who should of died have an overdose but didn’t.
Alpha 3 is already busted so how much worse could it possibly get?

Well, considering Alpha 3 was an awesome game and the game that first got me into fighters legit in the first place as a kid, any more focus on that is awesome and can only possibly be topped by potential thoughts of CVS2 Online. I tells ya, I miss playing Alpha 3 and CVS Sakura. The AE version just doesn’t feel the same.
MvC2 is the black cousin who has the most sex :cybot:
The first game is a long-forgotten ancestor who no one knows about and when people do find about his history they aren’t impressed. The EX series is a Bitch Ex-Wife who contributed little to the family and took a lot of cool things from the family during the divorce.
Darkstalkers is the fun but often ignored younger brother of SF. He is usually there right next to SF, its just that people don’t notice him because he is so small.
The 3D games (Plasma Sword, Rival Schools) are often missed pets who in actuality probably wouldn’t be profitable to keep around today but they were fun while they lasted.
MVC2 is the badass Black Cousin who rides a motorcycle and fucks all the hot girls.When he heard SF4 was coming out, he got on his bike, said to the SF Family “Stay Free” and rode off into the sunset.
TVC is a dog that died too soon.
CVS2 is 3S’s badass older brother who was always rich. He fucks all the girls, he never works and he wants to have kids badly but can’t due to business reasons.
Think SFA4 will end up being nothing more than SFxT with custom combos, so no thanks. I need to see a sign first that Ono’s team understood what went wrong with SFxT and how they could fix it.
Although I got to say, I could see SFxT being a much better game if it didn’t have the tagging gimmicks…

Gem gimmick could be fixed and made more logical. Something like 30 gems which are easily identifiable would have been much better accepted by everyone here. It could still work in future Capcom games, but they need to take it seriously rather than make it feel like a half baked idea that’s tacked on.
I rather see EX series come back.

If they went through the trouble of making another 3D title, why not just call its own game rather than another alpha? Especially if they didn’t re-use SF4 stuff to do it.
