Oi lads, i have a question about the Fei L match up. I have a really huge problem with people who uses the Rekka alot. When they get me in to a corner they usual spam 1 hit lp rekka. I try to punish it with cr.mp but i think rekka is 4f and cr.mp is 5f. Is there anyway to punish it? If i FA they usualy just do 1 more rekka to break it Q_Q.

I have been using cr. HP, st .HK xx after FA crumple during matches but i was wondering if it works on entire cast or is it character specific, haven’t tested
That link is so spacing dependent I just use f+MK > st.MK > st.RH xx
When the match starts, take a step back and stand right outside 1 Rekka’s range [If you don’t know this spacing, go into training mode and figure it out]. When you see your opponent do a Rekka, press Stand fierce. Rekka has quick start up, but a lot of whiff recovery. Punish it and if your opponent knows other moves, he’ll stop.
Also I wouldn’t call c.hp, s.hk spacing dependent. I’ll test today, but I think it works on the entire cast. Otherwise I can wad my words up and eat them.
St.MK doesn’t combo after non-meanty non CH f.MK(except for target combo but that is not a link) , and neither does st.rh combo after st.mk so i pressume it’s a typo and you meant F.mk > st.MP > st.RH, in which case it is a very good combo(if you start with fa lvl 2 and end it with hp dp it does 330 damage for no bars!!!) but beware that it doesn’t work of a lot of characters, like shotos, blanka, Bison (of course that a high damage combo doesn’t work on our worst matchup)

East, what do you do when Fei walks back into Rekka range? Walk back further? Then you are in the corner without him even pressing a button. Remember Rekka range is further than st.HP range, so walking back isn’t really a great solution. You will just put yourself in the corner, and Fei is DEADLY there.
And if you are looking to whiff punish Rekkas, use st.HK and buffer EX MGB. It will put the fear of god into them.

Maybe not when you’re in the optimal range to smack them with it, but it definitely will whiff against certain characters as a punish for a blocked move.
Is it me or does Dudley have the easiest 1-frame links in the game? or maybe his BNB arent 1-frame links someone list his 1-frame linked combos for me I looked at frame data but still cant make sense of it lol or maybe I have good timing who knows
Dudley has some pretty tight links that coupled with his special movements, call for some above average dexterity.
cr. HP > st. HK
Cr. HK the third time in a juggle succession or the 2nd time after EX MGB
fwd MK > cr. MP > st. HK all one frame
Ducking upper xx FADC > lp
st. lp > st. HP
I swear some of his juggles (duck straight on Bison) are one framers.
So is the cr lp into st hk a 1 framer i think its 2 frame link

I normally don’t post but I like this combo. And I have a good punish for fireball throwers or if you stunned someone.
In the corner or near the corner Jumping Fierce > Toward + Forward > Standing Roundhouse > Jab Jet Upper > Jab MGB > Super does 600 damage. I haven’t tested this on someone after they have been stunned but we all know it will scale. I feel as those there is nothing wrong with going for stun but I personally like the damage combos. Plus Dudley builds meter quickly so this combo has some worth in my book. Hope it helps some people.

You can do j.hp > f+mk > st.hk xx mk Short Swing Blow xx Super anywhere on the screen and it does nearly the same damage.
I’m also quite partial to swapping f+mk for cr.hp if it is a punishment combo off a one hit dizzy.
I can’t test it but does jHP crHP sHK xx MK SSB xx Super connect? How much damage?
I’m pretty sure it won’t connect. He’s pushed too far away after the st. HK.
Thats sounds like a corner combo on a fatty characters. My main issue is I try t use the target combos in real matches but I rather use them as block strings and wait for the reversals but I think Dudley will climb in the tier list in AE because he has the tools to do everything but will see.
