One, Two, The End! Dudley Combo Thread **Check first post before posting!**

Yup.

I think I will do a comprehensive list for max punish juggles for the cast this week.

Logan, I’ll pick up the slack and note the damage and hits on sHK x EX MGB > LK Duck Straight > U2 so you don’t have to test everything.

sHK xx EXMGB > LK Duck Straight > Ultra 2 (midscreen)
All at 100% Health (No defense boost)

If anyone wants to do the sHK xx EXMGB > MK Duck Straight > U2 go ahead but it added only 1 more hit on Adon, Rose and T. Hawk (33 more dmg). I should’ve test MK duck straight dmg while I was doing this but didn’t think until the end.

Nice work Mr. X.

sHK xx EXMGB > MK Duck Straight > Ultra 2 (midscreen)
All at 100% Health (No defense boost)

Please retest some of these if you want. There might be more characters who get hit 2 extra hits. My execution isn’t flawless.

tl;dr

EX MGB > MK Duck Straight whiffs on:
Bison (Dictator)
Dhalsim
E. Honda
El Fuerte
Guile
Zangeif

2 Extra Hits (+66 dmg):
Adon
Akuma
Chun Li
Dudley
Gen
Juri
Ken
Ryu
Viper

0 Extra Hits:
Abel
Blanka
Guy
Sagat
Vega (he took all hits using LK duck straight)

1 Extra Hit (+33 dmg):
Everyone else

33 extra damage is not worth the difficulty imo

Didn’t plink the MK duck to be sure I used the MK Duck.

I just test it from the cr.LK cr.LP hit confirm. And I go by the number of hits the combo does. so 17 being the most. 16 being the middle, and 15 being the bargain basement variety. To be honest, if the combo only does 1 hits I am considering just using LK Duck Straight > HP Jer Upper. Abel for example.

You’re talking about EX MGB walk U2?

You have to remember though that when you don’t have full ultra the straight adds on a lot more damage than what you might see if you just raw ultra’d.

And any hits before the sHK will make the U2 scale even more so something like if you did 2 LPs or a FA, doing the Ultra might be a waste, let alone the extra hits you can get from an MK duck straight (33 dmg extra damage getting scaled even more lol).

Where is the listing of Dudley’s Corner only Combos?

I need to revise the front page but these are the only corner-specific juggles you need:
[]lp jet upper -> lp mgb (-> super)
[
]EX MGB or cr.hk -> cr.hk -> cr.hk (-> super/ultra)
[]The 2 cr.hk juggle is very hard. Something easier is cr.hk/EX MGB -> lk duck straight -> lp mgb, does almost the same amount of damage.
[
]Most practical combo to ultra in corner: cr.hk/EX MGB -> cr.hk -> ultra 2. If comboing into ultra do not do a lp mgb before the ultra, it will make a few hits of the ultra whiff.

EX SSB FADC ultra 2
I think you’re going to need to remake the combo thread and reserve the first 4-5 posts. There’s a few character specific stuff I would like to see on the front page like who f. MK st. MP st. HK whiffs on (or works on if it’s shorter) and who can’t be 2 cr. HKs whiffs on after a EX MGB (which might change in AE since cr HK might stay sped up).

And Dudley should be added to characters you can’t LP JU > HP JU because anything before the LP JU makes the HP JU whiff and sometimes the raw LP JU > HP JU whiffs if you don’t walk forward a bit.

I haven’t gotten this one off often, but I’ll explain as best as possible.

(close) f.MP, s.LP MP, S.HK, qcf+MK, MK, FC dash forward, LP MP MK (combo) into upper.

why f.MP? I mean if it has to be close then why not use f.mk? should stuff everything f.mp does, has faster startup and easier to combo off.

been having Severe issues online with going for cr. lp x2 into st.HK. Seems I always whiff the HK cause the lps push me too far away. The question then is, If I do a standing lp on the second one, will it leave me closer? Or is it just a matter of learning my spacing better?

If you start making a habit of not doing crouch jab X2 then you may accidentally do crouch jab xx stand jab xx on a crouching opponent and whiff. You should learn the spacing better. It whiffs a lot more than you’d think.

i apologize, it is f.mk. btw, u can use f.mk, mp into the rest, that way is easier. 9 that way, 10 hits the other.

Meaty f.hk -> cr.mp -> s.hk combos.

I tested all the standard EX MGB juggles applicable to Ryu with this combo and with Dartshot -> St. Roundhouse and it does more damage for every combo except for following up EX MGB with duck straight then full ultra 2. At around half Ultra 2 they do the same damage

That combo is pretty hard to hit confirm unless you’re timing it that meaty on purpose.
