It’s interesting to note that Skypea was part of Roger’s final voyage. So he had to sail back all the way back to the grand line to get the final clue about Raftel.

Looks like we are reaching the end. How many more “islands” will they visit? Also cant see them takin on any more regular nakama. Its just Jinbe and thats it i think.
So that’s why I was waiting for nothing. I only read Act-Age and Samurai 8 on Viz but it looks like I’ll have to read every Shonen Jump there.

as always, Toei don’t understand the manga and completely missing the points.
and nowadays, it feels like animators at toei don’t understand how to make a fight scene.
They totally fail to make most atack in one piece feel fast and impactful. every punches in OP nowadays look like pushing contest.

OK I’m finally up to date on wtf has been happening jeezus
Finally a new chapter. Feels like it’s been a month since the last.
Did the manga (or was it the anime?) just say that Wano arc is ending soon? Nothing even happened… That last chapter was dull but possibly important? Roger said bye, WG doesn’t wanna talk about D, Oden pissed at Orochi… didn’t we all know this already?
And wassup with the anime - was Moria looking for Absalom/slashed by invisible Shiryu in the manga? Can’t remember that.
Haven’t watched the movie (yet) thanks to my horrible experience of watching Gold with bad subs. Anyone watch Stampede with good subs anywhere?

I think the Oden flashback arc was as much about getting to show Roger backstory as it was anything to do about Wano. Kind of a “when else am I going to get a convenient place to put this” thing. And it established that Orochi didn’t end up Shogun by accident or anything, guy is a legit high tier schemer.
There was a chapter that displayed what was happening outside Wano. It did show Moria confronting Blackboard, his bounty, and the death of Absalom resulting in Shiryu getting the clear clear fruit.
