Dang I’d give running commentary if I could, but no spoilers I guess.
It looks like we have real challenger here folks!
Summary
Judging by how well Kyoshiro deflected Zoro’s 2nd strongest projectile attack and is casually clashing with him, it seems that Zoro is going to have his first real swordsman duel in the New World. But my fear is that since he’s obviously a double agent the fight might end prematurely.
Goda does it again. I would’ve never had guessed Kamazo was Killer — Kid’s first mate. Sucks what happened to him, it also seems his insanity has probably curbed his fighting skills since I think he’d present a better challenge to Zoro being the only other non-captain Supernova. It’s also nice to see that Kid known for causing chaos and brutality seems to have a soft spot for his nakama, enough that he’d risk his own freedom.
Although brief, it was nice seeing Queen no-selling Luffy’s impulsive attack. It gives us a better idea of who we’re dealing with.
But Big Mom though…
Maybe its just me, but Luffy (and the others occcasionally) getting saved all the time from these impossible situations just pisses me off
Nothing about the situation is that bad for Luffy, really. Even if Queen is stronger than Luffy, Luffy could practically just walk away if he wanted to. That collar just isn’t a credible threat given all the shit Luffy can do.
I’m curious to see how Luffy capitalizes on the new situation though.
Luffy is straight but the old man and the others involved with the execution are not so lucky if things don’t turn around. But given there is none of the food Ma is craving everyone still might be fucked regardless.
Still waiting to see who the dude is in the prison cell. Hope we dont spend too long there and have some sort of mini impel down
i expect them to be freed in the next two chapters due to mom arriving. at the end she and kaido most likely take themself out or at least will she have a big part in it.

A brachiosaurus, whodathunkit? I would’ve guessed Queen’s Zoan DF would’ve been a scorpion model to round out the animal diversity. (i.e., mammal, reptile, arthropod.) Either way Big Mom clearly eats them all for breakfast lol.
Zoro stealth punk’d Sanji’s good. If he’s heartbroken now wait until he hears they were sleeping together…
Oh and Sanji’s ♀bservation Haki is on point. His version of observation Haki seems to be more on the emotional spectrum like Queen Otohime except she didn’t discriminate.

Summary
O Lin was legit not thinking with her own belly and wanted to take the food back to share with the villagers. That is a completely different mind set then Big Mom was shown to have.
Also Luffy vs O Lin will be interesting, training with her is probably his best bet to get strong enough to face Kaido in the near future.
O Lin is operating with her flashback childhood personality right now, from before she got jaded by people “disappearing” when she gets too hungry.
Dangerous, but less malevolent.

Oh and I almost forgot, things are coming around for Luffy. Him taking off the neck trap using advanced haki was a direct mirror to Rayleigh’s feat back on Shabondy.
Back then Rayleigh said he was 100 times stronger than Luffy, I wonder how much that gap has closed?
Oh and this makes me even more amped to see Shanks in full form after his relatively passive display on Whitebeard’s ship.

It appears in the heat of the moment he used “Ryuo” and was able to create a barrier inside the collar before throwing it away.
