Anyone else encountered a bug with Omega Bison, where if you execute EX scissors, normal scissors still comes out instead?
I’ve double checked my inputs and I’m definitely pressing more than 1 Kick button at the same time to execute, and a lot of the time a regular scissor kick will come out.
Happens a lot when you try a EX scissor kick loop.
Been playing too much XRD and busy with work. I didn’t even know this was coming out today. OMG Omega Bison bits need to be defaulted to the regular USF4 version.
I don’t think it’s been mentioned yet, but from what I found, Omega Bison can’t link crouching shorts. Apart from that, Omega Bison was probably the most interesting character I found. Messed around with Fei long, E.Ryu, Balrog, Adon, Yun and Yang, but for some reason their Omega changes didn’t seem too inspired. Well, for me anyway.
You can’t do scisscors with charge back + down forward, you must do it now with forward only, like honda’s headbutt. Which is odd, because I am used to it with down forward.

Bison doens’t have a reversal now I think omega sucks imo. Played 2 Hours, don’t like it.
Ah I forget, ex headstomp doens’t have any startup invincibility, been kicked out of it already a 1000 Times.
Hard scissors does only 130 Damage, but Hard PC does 170.
Overall I don’t know what to do now with bison. How do I pressure my opponent? sciscors? can’t get them out now constantly maybe the overhead works now as a main pressure move, it’s also a motion move not charge, and it’s cancelable after normals.
It’s not a bug, EX scissors just has a longer charge time than the normal version for some reason. I don’t know the exact frame counts it takes to charge a move… but from what I see it takes roughly 1 second to charge up regular scissors, whereas the EX needs roughly 1.5 seconds. The amounts may not be precise but it definitely requires extra charge time.

devil reverse moves fwd automatically…

ex psycho’s last frames don’t trigger animation, so bison combos
Oh, I see why c.LK didn’t link to itself. They gave it a MP and HP Psycho Crusher cancel property ala SFxT. You can punish -3, -4 stuff with c.LK xx MP or HP Psycho Crusher and continue your shenanigans.
Forcing people to utilize the forward direction to connect with specials instead of down-forward to not mess with the new diagonal attack inputs is kinda confusing as hell at a glance but it makes some sense now.
EDIT: Omega mode is hilariously.
