Im punishing all whiffs with PC. Its funny as hell! lol It seems like Capcom wants you to use PC over SK with Omega Bison.
Okay my observations.
All moves that have a the purple flame pyscho power affect turn opponents purple on hit. Cosmetic change.
C.LK no longer links into itself or be combed into from CL.HP. Believe its around 5 frames.
C.MP lost 10 damage.
S.MP seems to be 1 frame faster. 5 frame.
S.LK is +7 on hit.
CL.MK seems to have lost 10 damage as well.
CL.MK to S.MP is an easy link.
S.MK and S.HK are slower by at least 1 frame. C.MP no longer links into S.HK
S.HK does 100 damage at all ranges.
C.HP now juggles air opponents, can juggle into Super.
Command normal
DF+HK is Deadly Middle Kick, Bison’s old ST roundhouse, does 130 damage.
DF+HP Pyscho Break, two hit punch similar to Ryu’s solar plexis strike.
NJ.HP and J.HP now juggle airborne opponents. Can combo into EX moves and Super.
Hell attack no longer has the juggle properties into Pyscho Crusher it got in Ultra.
Both throws damage increased by 40.
Pyscho Crushers
Normal Pyscho Crushers does 30 more damage. Medium and Heavy version move much faster and start up quicker.
LP.Pyscho Crusher does not combo from light move cancels. All other versions do.
Chip damage on Pyscho Crusher is 76, 80, 84 for light, medium and heavy, EX does about 24.
EX.PC only goes through 1 fireball now.
Costs two bars of meter, does 250 damage and looks boss.
EX.PC juggles into U1 if it hits from full screen on all characters. Also juggles into its self but damage is poor.
Scissor Kick
EX.SK large increase in charge time, all invincibility removed. Does 100 damage, is at least +6 on hit.
Normal SK seem to be reverted to their Super versions. LK.SK is 0 on block again.
Teleport
Teleport seems to have been reverted to its pre-ultra incarnation.
Headstomp
Normals appear the same.
Ex has no invincibility.
Death Flutter
Pre defined jump distance depending on strength presses.
Light is a short hop, 1/4 screen.
Medium is about 2/3rd screen/
Hard is like 3/4 screen.
Ex is like old Devil Reverse Jump but has no invincibility.
Not fixed to opponents position so can be used to escape corner.
Can perform devils reverse which auto moves forward. Faster and does 140 damage.
Ex does 170 and only hits once. Can now cross up.
Can also peform Evil Stomp, difficult to use, but the ex.version you can combo off for high damage.
Pyscho Server.
HP and EX are overheads. Reflects fireballs. Allows for similar combo’s to Evil Ryu.
Super is really good. +90 damage.
No longer has slide animation, like SFxT version. Fully connects off juggles.
Basically this is all offense no defense Bison, much closer to his ST incarnation.
Ex scissor kick can’t through projectile again
but it comboable.
Bison command df.HP negates fireballs if done on the correct timing, Similar to how Oni’s hp works. LK seems to have lots of advantage on hit, Bison command normal df.hk combos after it. Bison ex PC costs two bars and deals 300 damage. Bison ultra 2 deals 450 damage.
Omega Bison deals huge damage now, his devils reverse is tricky to use but very confusing to block. He seems a lot more versatile and he feels completely different. I like some of the ideas that was implemented. Still they didn’t touch skull diver though -_-
Crossup DR is a lot easier now
Omega bison feels very strong. Ridic damage.
Anyone else encountered a bug with Omega Bison, where if you execute EX scissors, normal scissors still comes out instead?
I’ve double checked my inputs and I’m definitely pressing more than 1 Kick button at the same time to execute, and a lot of the time a regular scissor kick will come out.
Happens a lot when you try a EX scissor kick loop.
it’s just that EX scissor requires more charge time than regular scissors, precisely to avoid loops. It’s really easy to test.
New super is damn cool
I like the super as well but ex Psycho is too awesome for me to pass up
Found that 3HP (solar plexus) put the opponent in juggle state. So you can do Jump MP (one hit) > 3HP > Ultra 1 or 3hp anti air > ultra 1. You can end with super also.
There is just no way to do it in match, but always good to now
I only got to play for maybe 20mins but man it’s gonna take some getting use to.
I’m debating if I even wanna use Bison anymore well at least for omega mode, I don’t wanna get bad habits while playing other editions
unless you’re planning to keep playing sf4 after sfv, I don’t think it really matters.
There are also many ways to keep your brain ready to play different versions.

I cancel into psycho axe kick, the LK version chips for like 20 I think. It might be a block string or only interruptable by DPs but the MK one has a little frame trap that’s only negated by invincible I believe. If you counter hit you can squeeze in a nice cr.MP s.MP xx EX-Scissor and link into c.LK xx HP Psycho Crusher easily.
LK Scissor still good to use, but if you have to walk forward you can still go on the offense pretty well IMO. I just need some more time to get used to walking forward more on Bison.
if you can pressure with USF4 bison then why can’t you with Omega?
Omega lost runaway, not pressure.
Only problem he has no defense and gets mauled because of his attacks losing invincible frames haha
I don’t think its problem, still has teleport, focus backdash… ex still feels invincible as well, please correct me.
Also there is no vortex, everyone wakes up super fast.
I think for wakeup options you have to use TP, FA, Backdash and now EX PC.
The Guile matchup in Omega is completely different now. Love it!
