[/details]

tie in
I’m too lazy to dig up the article. Basically This, Old Man Logan, and Mark Millers 1980 one shot will all tie in together. Currently the Fantastic Four just saved a whole bunch of people from a desolate future. (I’m guessing the Old Man Logan one.) And now Doom has started talking about his master, the last panel shows the bad guy destroying a parallel universe.
tie in
I knew that they tie in somehow but not the whole baddie part. I thought you meant we’d see the last bad guy of Old Man Logan. He’s prolly the mastermind but I doubt Wolverine will get his licks into this guy at the end of O.M.L.
this spoiler discussion is like friggin secret code-pass it on like when you’re a kid or some shit ha ha.
lol i see nothing.
Yeah, the energy projection thing is weird.
NEVER go with the Power Ratings up on Marvel.com. Because fans can screw with them and even the official rankings are all kinds of messed up.
Always go with the official rankings as they appear in the Marvel Universe books. Those are suspect sometimes but they are way more accurate.
I’ll toss up Wolverine’s REAL stats when I get a free minute. Ask me about any character and if they have one in a Marvel Universe book I will be able to give it to you.
thx Sano…
i wouldn’t mind knowing what logan’s true stats are. They had a revamped one in the Civil War battle report Tony sent to the White house
I’d like to know how Spiderman is ranked too…he’s so beastly sometimes i think u cant even consider him a street leveler any more
Spider-Man’s strength level increased somewhat in that he could lift 5/10 extra tons after one of his mutations (he had two, one for Avengers Disassembled and one after ‘The Other’) a few years back. But his Power Rating remained the same IIRC, they work in ranges and 5/10 extra tons wasn’t enough to change it.
I demand joe q make all writers put a speech bubble with the accurate weight of all items thrown, lifted, hurled, tossed and smashed in all marvel comics
Even if they did someone would start that dumb ass rumor that temps came up with all of that information like what happened with the Power Ratings in the Marvel Universe books. Um, I know several people who have temped for Marvel, they don’t give you responsibilities like that. It’s just that there are zillions of comics out there that you can’t expect everyone to read so sometimes the stats are suspect. Still better then what’s up at Marvel.com though.
From the Marvel Universe books. 7 is the highest rating you can get in anything, 1 is the lowest.
Wolverine
Intelligence - 2 (Normal)
Strength - 4 (Superhuman: 800 lbs-25 ton range)
Speed - 2 (Normal)
Durability - 4 (Regenerative)
Energy Projection - 1 (None)
Fighting Skills - 7 (Master of all forms of combat)
Spider-Man
Intelligence - 4 (Gifted)
Strength - 4 (Superhuman: 800 lbs-25 ton range)
Speed - 3 (Superhuman: Peak range: 700 MPH)
Durability - 3 (Enhanced)
Energy Projection - 1 (None)
Fighting Skills - 4 (Experienced fighter)
On the link below, that page and beyond I jotted down ones for all of the playable Marvel characters that showed up in Capcom games. Sabretooth’s helper Birdy never got a rating. Shuma-Gorath was the last one to get a rating in the Marvel Universe Horror book so he’s in later pages of the thread.

I’m pressed for time but I’ll check some of the more recent Marvel Universe books later on to see if the ratings for either Spider-Man or Wolverine have changed over the years. Spider-Man’s may have with regards to strength but I’m pretty sure Wolverine’s is the same.
Wolverine has become stronger over the years by way of retroactive continuity. In the 80s that worked on Class ranges, Wolverine was grouped with Captain America in terms of strength. Now he’s depicted as being much stronger than Cap, so he’s closer to Spider-Man now with regards to that. And Wolvie’s Healing Factor has been way amped up in recent years but because it is still ‘regenerative’ and not exactly bulletproof or what have you Durability for him should still stay at 4.
not to start a stat war Sano, but i remember my old marvel universe card (series 3) stats, they had different ranges (that i don’t completely remember) so i wont slap them numbers up here.
I will give IHMO thought of were there abilities range now.
