Depending on the situation and how much EX bar I have, I usually go for the EX SRK juggle. 3 extra hits - not bad.

Yes AA Ultra is possible. Dash is not required if their landing site is within reach. Make sure you execute it early. If you can see their body in background while the camera is close up to Ken’s face, you will miss the AA Ultra.

if you use an EX Shoryukuen + FADC, the body goes upper than fierce shoryuken. But, is possible enter the complete Ultra in this case (execute it early, like the description of crimsonson), or only we can do the complete ultra before fierce shoryuken + FADC?
Hey guys, I haven’t seen anything on this, but does Ken have any normals that will force the opponent to stand during a combo into EX tatsu? Sakura can do this, so wasn’t sure if Ken could as well…

I don’t understand this. If you made a counter, you can do a complete ultra… but if I’m doing a combo (for example, cross up with m. kick, srk + fadc + ultra) I can’t do a complete ultra in anything case?

Connecting the full ultra is ALL about the fierce shoryu. The first hit of the shoryu has to juggle. When does this happen?
-During a certain stage of a crumble
-Counter Hit
-Anti-air fierce shoryu.
It has nothing to do with how high the character pops up.
So no, you cant get the full ultra during a combo.

I’m a Cammy mainer for this version (Fei for HDR, Guile for CE), but want to pick up Ken just for fun. Never had to use Kara throws, but realize this is essential for Ken. Anyone have videos of the Kara throw timing? I can’t seem to pull it off with the 360 controller.
What Kara throw is?

Kara in Street Fighter terminology is when you use a move that propels the character forward then immediately canceling that move with another.
In this case, using f.mk + throw to extend the range of the normal throw.
To do it you will need to press the throw button IMMEDIATELY right after f.mk. I think you have a 1 frame window to do so. Basically, pressing the 3 buttons all the same time ( forward + mk + lp + lk). You should see Ken ‘warp’ forward then do a throw.

i was under the impression that you had 3 frames from f+mk to hit your throw. so… a tiny bit more room but still it’s basically hitting them at the same time.
