Undead and Blood Elves seem to be the most common Horde races. Orcs the least common. I like Trolls though personally. They’ve just got cool style. And their ladies are cute.

Yea Undead are pretty cool, I have two undeads on my main server. But not really leved, they just sit around Eastvale Logging Camp ganking noobs.

your gear depends on your spec. looks like you’re speccing affliction, so spell crit is a low priority for you. if you were destruction, then you would want crit because not only would you be casting spells that could crit, there are also talents that give you bonuses when you crit a spell. the only DoTs that can crit are those with a front load of damage, like immolate or flame shock. only the front load of the spell can crit, and the rest of the DoT damage will not be modified by the crit, nor can any of the ticks crit.

if you’re going full affliction, you will never stop using curse of agony because of the good affliction talents that boost it’s damage, and soul siphon. your talent choices depend on if you’re going to be doing pve raiding or pvp. if you’re doing pve raiding, you have no use for imp howl of terror, and you definitely want suppression because of the higher level mobs you’ll be facing and their increased chance to resist your spells. in fact, you’re going to want this talent no matter what you’ll be doing, minimizing spell resists is always good. if you pvp, improved drain soul is kind of crappy. you don’t need the threat reduction in pvp, and the mana proc only goes off if you get the killing blow on your target, which won’t be often. so yeah, if you want to maximize your character, it helps to know whether you’ll be doing 5v5 arenas, or raiding, etc.

any advice for a druid in training? im level 17 and all my talent points so far have been to sup up my shapeshift powers. any tips?

What do you mean your shapeshift powers? If you mean furor and natural shifter you don’t need those yet this early. OOC is good, but you’d be better off spending the points to get feline swiftness to reduce your travel time as quickly as possible between levels 20 and 30 when you get travel form.

You want to focus on feral for grinding. Max out ferocity, brutal impact and feral instinct. By 20 when you get cat form you should be able to buy feline swiftness. Take sharpened claws and feral charge. Skip nurturing instinct, SotF, and primal tenacity until you’ve built everything else up and gotten ILotP. You should have 34 in feral by then and you can go back and place one point in either of the spots you skipped. Then max out predatory instincts and get mangle.

By then you should be 49 or 50 and you can start building resto to get OOC if you want it and nature’s grasp from balance. Actually, you should snag nature’s grasp earlier.

Balance is your best PVP bet right now so if you plan on doing a lot of PVP you may want to go that route. Your grinding will be slow though.

Resto is most likely to get you into a raid but you don’t need to respec resto until you’re ready for PVE.

Taurens and Trolls are the coolest fucking races in the game, not just the horde.

Don’t move when Flame Wreath is casted, or everyone gets shot!

If anybody has a priest, feral druid, or prot pally on horde side, and wants a casual horde raiding guild (~3 nights a week), hit me up and I’ll give you the info.

Yeah, Trolls are the best race in the game. Blood elves come second. I really want to like Orcs but they just look so damn awkward as anything other than a warrior, shaman or maybe hunter.

Man, I wish I could transfer my god damned main over to Onyxia.

Has anyone gotten there account banned and then un-banned?

Should be killing Curator this weekend. 2nd week in Kara.

My guild fucking fails at farming primal fire/water so we can make craftables for Serpentshrine. -_-

Just hit 70!

Man, I wanna lvl my BE pally but the 40-50 levels blow dick. Lame quests, lame zones and lame instances (not that anyone ever does Uldaman or Zul’farrak anyway). No choice but to grit my teeth and push to 50 I guess

And why do PvP servers suck? To hear others describe it (while they’re calling you a carebear) you’d think it’d be constant chaos, with bodies littering the streets, babies crying and the sky raining blood. But it’s not much different than a damn PvE server. Maybe I just have bad luck on servers. It’s the 3rd time I’ve leveled a guy on a PvP server and the 3rd time I’ve been disappointed. I really want to fight people outside of the confines of a BG but it doesn’t look like that’s gonna happen much, no matter where I go

Prot AoE Paladin. Fun spec, alot more efficient and overall better.

What PvP servers have you been on?

I’ve had a Troll Hunter on Tichondrius and a Undead Warrior on Arthas.

Always seemed to be action and alot of cross-faction dueling. I heard Arthas is dead though, I was around for the old <Ret> heads and 5v5 World Comps.

He has obviously never been to STV on BWL Athan lol. Talk about gank central, hell I got ganked at 2 in the morning there. Not to mention the meeting stone at SM where its gank warfare most of the time.

Yeah prot pally is the way to go, I just skip around zones and do quests and kill large groups of shit at a time. I am about half way through 49 now. I personally thought 30-40 was more of a bitch, people seem to tend not to try to gank you as much when they see BOK or BOS instead of BOW or BOM.

Balnazzar, Chromaggus and Blood Furnance. I joined these servers as they were opening up but maybe that wasn’t a good idea.

Yeah, I could wander through STV on Blood Furnance and not worry about a thing. The only time I saw any PvP is when the alliance tried to make a mad dash to Scarlet Monastery
