Thanks for the tips. Next time I sign on I’m going to drop demonic embrace to get closer to dark pact.
not if you have duel deathbringers. thats about it though
for pve it sure isnt
fury represent!
thats whats gay, warriors need 2 different builds/gear sets - one for pvp and one for pve…:looney:
um… like half the classes in the game?
fury is great in pvp, assuming you have epic gear or a healer (both make it even better), otherwise it blows. unlike MS you lose all your burst damage so you’re much more reliant on dispel, but with gear, you can get insane bloodthirst crits, sustained damage and superior rage generation. ms will be way more spikey which is the way you need it without healing and without doing insane non burst damage.
edit:
as for MD/Ruin, its now a superior raiding spec in every sense, especially in BWL where you pretty much need some sort of aggro dump or pumping out that extra 5% damage wont be a deal breaker. on fights like Broodlord, MD/Ruin is superior to SM/Ruin and if you dont need imp you’ll do about the same amount of damage, not to mention the blood pact bonus will kick ass for your tank, it also doesn’t gimp you as much in PvP because you can bust out a Felhunter pretty easily and be damn effective. SM/Ruin is a bit gimped in that respect because in 1v1 you want a succubus which SUCKS since it doesnt countor to the strengths of the build (DoTs). MD/Ruin also has health regen which is sweet for those 10 minute fights like twin emps where you’re going to be semi-tanking, although SL would be superior but not neccessary.
yes i am a huge WoW faggot, dont bother asking. if you have an SA account you’ll know why.
I’m going to hit 60 by next week most likely. What should I expect? I expect a ton of crying in BRS, Scholo etc because people want different types of gear.
Ah another Thunderhorn player:rolleyes:
I just got the full Dreadmist Raiments for my Orc Warlock!
took me some time in UBRS, Scholo & Strat however, but I can show it off now.:wgrin:
…I’ll hit 60 by next weekend. Suckahs.
marn that is terrible you are terrible aaaaaaaaaaa
Are you a warrior? Most of the time you won’t have to compete for drops in those endgame, PUG instances (asides from UBRS) unless it’s a nice ring that you, a hunter, or a rogue could use. Also, you’ll find that many pieces of Valor can be replaced by random, better blues.
Anyone who knows anything… knows that fury is the best talent tree for warriors. An equally equipped (talking epic here) MS warrior will do shit dps when compared to a fury warrior… thing is fury has to stay close at all times.
For pvp and pve. No one cares about your gay duel wins… in BG’s - fury 15 second intercept is the king.
Ronin - your build sucks… 3 extra rage from a charge isn’t worth a talent point… you’re fury.
Get 5/5 improved parry… works great for pvp and pve - especially if you plan on tanking.
Improved rend line down to impale isn’t seriously worth all those points. Dual wielding with this talent wont benefit you nearly as much as it does for arms… 50 damage every 3 seconds is barely worth it.
No improved intercept? Whats going on?
You’re probably PvE judging by the improved cleave. I don’t know of many guilds who even bother with a fury warrior for instances with them constantly pulling agro and increasng healing demand. Unless of course you’re all geared up and know not to mortal strike.
ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
i find those instances a waste of time. try to get yourself into a decent guild who at least have mc, zg and aq20 on farm status and just get gear from there. if you still want to do scholo and all that you dont really need +def or resistance gear anyway since its all pretty easy
if hes fury he shouldnt
its only useful pvp. unless you do battlegrounds nonstop going with this is a waste
ronin has a nice build cept for that one point in charge which should go to anger managment. improved cleave is circumstantial and i would rather see the points in improved battleshout but if he PVEs a lot more than pvp then its not a bad choice
link up your character suleman
Bucket, I do PVE a lot more than I do PVP. PVP is something I do occasionally in my free time so I plan on sticking with my build. I only PVP with my guild now and we have tanks that have all that improved shit on their for PVP. I’m there for support kills and mauling people one on one.
As for my build, I keep the point in improved charge because it gives me a HUGE jump in rage from the get go and I can slap on buff after buff and keep myself that way. I didn’t put any points into anger management since I use execute frequently so my rage pool ends up at zero again after every fight, which leads into me keeping the point in improved charge because I can turn around and get between 22-30 rage off of my initial charge. Also, the additional rage points it produces gives me an opportunity to use two handers if the situation calls for it since I won’t be getting nearly as much rage as I would with two one handers. Usually when I charge somebody I immediately do demoralizing shout, rend and sunder armor (I’m usually already buffed with battle shout) and then go from their depending on the situation. The improved rend and all that usually procs on my 3rd or 4th hit, so it’s just adding damage and helping me end the fight a little quicker. My overall DPS output is higher with impale and all of that than without.
Also, I put the points down the line for impale since (correct me if I’m wrong) it gives your other instant abilities a large chance to crit. Any instant strike I do has a massive chance to crit which is another I put my point down that line. On my previous build I didn’t have any points into improved rend all the way thru impale and I didn’t see much damage bonuses. I respec’d to see what would happen if I went that route and it’s made my execute crit almost every single time, as well as my overpower (since I used this build over power hasn’t done normal damage, it always crits) heroic strike and cleave crit like fucking crazy.
Congrats, Suleman. You made an entirely retarded statement without knowing what I do in the game, or how I’m geared. Congrats. The build works for me and how I play. I could give a fuck less what you think of it, especially since you want to come in here and act all high and mighty about a fucking video game. “OH NOEZ YUO GUYZ NO NOTHING!!111”
You seem to have shit confused anyway. You don’t go fury if you want to tank. I have gear for tanking but I don’t do it often unless I’m the only warrior. My guild has a large group of tanks and I’m like 6th in line if we ever need a MA or AT so I’m free to play how I want. There’s only 1 other fury warrior in my guild, so they want me to do DPS.
Fury being the best tree is debatable as well. Blizzard put a LOT more time into the Arms tree than they did with the fury, as made evident by how shitty blood thirst is compared to Mortal Strike and how well stacked the arms tree is compared to everything else. I find two hand builds to be kind of mindless, which is exactly why I went fury and with the way I did my build.
My main’s a rogue actually. Will i need to get resistance gear, even though I shouldn’t be taking hits anyways?
so what is the official SRK server?
Hellscream!!!
message ajac or manjie for an invite.
errr i’m sorry. i actually meant what is the official srk PVP server, don’t want to do pve
Andorhal PVP… Msg Marn for an invite into S R K
k i just made an orc hunter named Jeromeo. who else is on andorhal? and what are u guy’s levels? can u hook me up?
Why do I keep getting asked if you can PVP on a PvE server?
