Udon crew:
I wanted to give you guys props for including a comic release schedule in the recent SFIITurbo issue. It’s definitely nice to see which months to expect a hiatus and when each spin-off and such picks up.
Of course I wish SFIII would come sooner, but hey…
SFIII got delayed didnt it?
yes. i can not even tell you how much I was looking forward to it. I decided to hold off collecting the comics, along with a group of friends/players, until there is official word of a date for them and we know we are getting them. Then I at least will go back and collect all the ones I missed along with the sf IIII comics.
Udon is a great company and i love their comics, but sf III constantly getting shafted does not in any way work for me. here is hoping we get that and pretty much a full story for the entire sf series.
Must be exciting that your game is coming out today?
Props to everyone at UDON.
Yes! you guys deserve a lot of credit! the game looks so amazing and I can not wait to play it!
hopefully everyone downloads and gets this game! Great work again, Udon!
If you’ve read Turbo #2, you now know that the man in question is Abel’s adoptive father. Pelnty more will be revealed in SFIV #1.
TPB so far are:
Street Fighter Vol.1: Round 1 - Fight!
Street Fighter Vol.2: The New Challengers
Street Fighter Vol.3: Fighter’s Destiny
Street Fighter Vol.4: Bonus Stage
Street Fighter Legends: Sakura Vol.1
We’ve also done several manga series in English
Street Fighter II (3 volumes)
Street Fighter Alpha (2 volumes)
Street Fighter III: Ryu Final (2 volumes)
Street Fighter: Sakura Ganbaru! (2 volumes)
No plans to pick up this license at the moment, but we did recently ink and colour a pack-in comic for the special edtion of Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe.
We actually only sell UDON shirts at cons. As Erik mentioned SF shirts are not part of our license.
I’m sure Erik types very dangeresquely.
Well hopefully not too many friends. Sales on the current series determine if we keep moving forward with future plans. If sales go down to much there could be no SFIII series at all.
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
I mean…yes, we are rather pleased.
well, if that is the case, I better go buy the stores out lol. I definitely want the sf III comic and will do what it takes so you guys can make them.
The new art and graphics on Super Turbo HD look amazing. Awesome work.
yeah really cool.
I just want to apologize to you, Matt, and Udon. I will keep supporting you guys and i love your guys work. I was just so upset because sf III gets left in the dark again but I still have faith in you guys. I know the Chun Li movie is coming and sf IV game, so you guys are doing the best you can for the business and sf III will come but it will have to wait and let everyone slowly get familiar with them.
I told my friends to keep on collecting and always support you guys. I will continue to buy your comics and i know we will get sf III comics eventually, but I also enjoy your turbo comics and all the sf comics from before. hell, if it were not for you guys we would have no sf or darkstalkers comics at all(or at least good ones outside the mangas). sorry my little fits of anger and I will keep supporting and you guys gave me a comic to collect and love. good luck and keep making the best comics ever!
Yeah, so I got the Chun-Li door poster a LONG time ago at the Udon store, at the time, Cammy was out of stock but now the Udon store is closed down, they don’t do the online store anymore. I looked at other places and most either don’t have it or out of stock or something. I tried Amazon and seen nothing either. Ahh, anyone know where I can Buy the Udon door poster of Cammy?
Hello,
I ordered the Street fighter tribute (paperback) book back in June 3, 2008. I still haven’t received the book. It cost about 80 bux. I saw it on amazon and it said was in stock plus it was only like 26 bux! What happened!?
If the version for the one ordered is not going to be made any more, I want a refund!
The artwork in the SFHD endings is great, however it doesn’t fill much of the screen. What was the reasoning behind this?
Agreed. Along with that, I wish the text were just a bit larger so I don’t have to get off my couch and walk up to the screen. Any consideration to change that in a future patch?
alright i was wondering if anyone could tell me where i should start when it comes to street fighter comics, what should i avoid etc. I’m sure the answer is someone in this thread but its 8 pages so yeah, any help would be appreciated

Hey Matt did you know that Ryu made our list of 45 favorite comic book characters thanks to you guys?
http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=169232
BTW just in case Capcom ever considers another Marvel vs. Capcom game, if you get to speak to them make sure you let them know that we REALLY like Deadpool.
Oh yeah for kicks here’s a full list of characters that made our poll that have been featured in Capcom games before heh!
ROGUE (Marvel)
COLOSSUS (Marvel)
VENOM, EDDIE BROCK (Marvel)
STORM (Marvel)
ICEMAN (Marvel)
CYCLOPS (Marvel)
THANOS (Marvel)
APOCALYPSE (Marvel)
RYU (Street Fighter; Udon)
CAPTAIN AMERICA, STEVE ROGERS (Marvel)
THOR (Marvel)
MAGNETO (Marvel)
IRON MAN (Marvel)
DOCTOR DOOM (Marvel)
HULK (Marvel)
WOLVERINE (Marvel)
SPIDER-MAN (Marvel)
All of the above were in MVC2 and other games from Capcom. Thor was an assist character in MVC1. Apocalypse was the final boss in X-Men vs. SF and MSH vs. SF. :woot:
Ah I guess this isn’t really a question lol! Well keep up the good work Udon. SSF2THDR is excellent!
like that Masahiko Nakahira manga you guys got with Ryu, love that fact that him and Birdie are homeboys just chilln lol thats too cool
where can I get that at
Hey guys, been a while! But back with some more response.
Afraid you’ll just have to keep looking, as UDON no longer sells posters through our website. Ebay might be a good place to start.
You message looks similar to an email we received so I’m guess I’ve already been talking to you about making sure you get your book.
This is the size Capcom requested so you’ll have to ask them about it. Though, the art is much larger than the classic SFII endings (they were a small part in the middle of the screen).
You’ll have to chat up Capcom or Backbone about that, udon wasn’t involved in the programming.
To both of you, UDON books are available through comic shops, book stores and of course online at sites like Amazon. Here’s a listing of all our products on amazon:
