We are well aware of the issue regarding quality and catering to the hardcore and the casual market. I don’t think it has been mentioned before, but there will be something for the casual player and there will be something for the hardcore (us). But both of them will be something that both crowds can embrace. If you get what I’m saying.
I won’t comment on it further because I can’t. But I promise I will when I get the green light.
i hope the catering to the hardcore gamer is at least easily being able to swap it to all sanwa/seitmitsu.
The catering to the casual market can be like you guys make the stick optical lol. Or maybe allows the joystick to switch from the dpad to the analog. That would be a nice plus on the pcb
I think the SFAC stick is already a good example of this.
Casual players liked it because it looked really nice and was limited edition and all that jazz. Plus it was a decent stick out of the box. Plus it could work on the 2 big systems.
Hardcore players liked it because it was SO easy to modify.
I know I for one would be satisfied with something like this again. You know no matter how good it is, hardcore players are going to mod it. People are modding HRAP SA’s afterall.
Yea I hear you. People will always mod something to cater to their personal preferences. And I don’t blame them.
Regarding the dual system plug… Unfortunately times have changed and a dual system stick at retail is not possible (for us at least). Microsoft wouldn’t be too happy with that.
Do you mean physical location, or will there be a button that disables it? A smaller button, that’s placed somewhere sort of like the HRAP3 turbo or VSHG mini buttons.
