Official Street Fighter IV FightSticks & FightPad Thread (More on the way!)

LOL You should get a free TE stick just for maintaining this thread!

I can solder. I also want it to work on 360 though. Can I have both? >.<

Well I preordered in Novemeber at GS but there will be some bad irony If I dont get one!

What was mentioned? Too lazy to listen at work… lol.

You’re doing a good job.

i was thinking you were refering/talking about w/e the people who were thinking that 3000 were being made, period. no more would ever be produced. ie and limited edition run.

This is not entirely verbatim

I’d buy it. :clapdos:

Any negative comments for the TE or SE? Just from honest people with unbiased opinions?

I’m an honest person and I’m unbiased.

I still prefer the Namco stick vs both the TE and SE, that is just my preference though.

Unless you’re used to the button layout, the left 6 vs right 6 might throw you off at first, I’ve seen this happen with several people everytime I showcase the sticks. Depends on how fast you adjust.

Another complaint, the TE stick and SE stick for PS3, do not work with PS2 games via BC. If you do want to see them work with BC, please let Sony know. This is the same situation as when the HRAP3 and FS3 first came out (even VSHG), where those sticks didn’t work with backwards compatibility.

Maybe we can see that changed in a future firmware update.

Darn. Well, can’t win 'em all. Here’s hoping, I’ll start hitting up SONY for dat update.

Please tell me the TE stick works with Xbox’ SF Anniversary Collection on the Xbox 360. :frowning:

that’s pretty lame, i thought firmware 1.6-1.8 took care of the 3rd party peripherals being able to be backwards compatible with ps2 and ps1 software? any specific reason for the new stick not being able to work immediately?

Yes, that is what I meant. I don’t think it’s fair for those who went out of there way to get a pre-order for something they thought was kinda rare or hard to get. Only to find out the manufacture said screw you! Rare this:arazz:! We’re making as many as people’s gonna buy. At least we should get a number for how many is being made. Instead we get vague answer “Limited quantity’s” which can mean 3000 to 300,000. Unfortunately Dwindleflip is right.

My only complaint is the overall size of the case (TE). I would have preferred something closer to the VSHG.

can I swap stick sanwa stick with a seimitsu? s-kill mentioned TE comes with an universal mounting plate. kinda wanna get the TE stick because some dude I know selling it for only $90(cuz he is a pad scrub lol)

short answere “yes”

more details on the first post man

It probably should, I haven’t recalled 360 BC having any problems with third party peripherals like the PS3.

Honestly, for this generation, Nintendo was the one who got backward compatibility right (insert duct-taped Gamecubes one-liner here). Microsoft’s BC has a limited library and is buggy with some games, while Sony’s has input lag and controller incompatibilities and got yanked from newer systems. You’re better off owning last gen’s systems if you wanted to play the games on them.

my bad…I didnt read…:looney:

Hmm, Markman, excuse me if this had been answered before but may I ask why y’all aren’t releasing these sticks to Japan? I know Hori is making their own SFIV sticks for Japan but don’t y’all think Japan would go batshit to get their hands on the TE?
