Neg rep moar dummies, I hope they produce 100,000+ of these things without any “collector character cards” and still slap limited edition and collectors edition somewhere on the box. If all it does is piss off scammers/resellers and gets more of these awesome things in the hands of actual players, I’m all for it.

Props to Markman/Seth for this hype machine as well. This is indeed some first year Wii reminiscent shit. Both these guys deserve a hefty raise/bonus in their paychecks this year.

Markman I hope you’ve spoken to you’re electrical engineer people to explain to them the issues that we’ve had with Madcatz X360 pads. I just hope I won’t have my pcb suicide after a few months of use.

I assure you that all these issues have both been brought up and addressed prior to design. Mark has told you guys many times, they he and his team did their homework and research and withl Mark and his colleagues knowledge of stick building, the Japanese stick products versus previous US arcade stick products released over the past decade, the PCB reliability issue for past 3rd party products has been factored in.

We should (GameStop… at least here in Cali/West Coast) should be receiving our shipments soon) as they are the boats heading back to the states. Yay! 16 days left!

Yes. Only a few of these were made and GameStop received the most orders and allocations for them. Which was around 3600. Everyone else got less.

The only home stick I have ever owned was the Capcom vs. SNK stick made by ASCII. (DC)

Has anyone had experience with this stick and I can tell me what stick and buttons it had - and what to expect moving up to a TE Stick?

Interesting, one week ago on a Tuesday morning I called Game Crazy, off Crenshaw Blvd and M.L. King in LA, about the tournament edition stick and the rep informed me that they had no more pre-orders for it, but they’re still accepting orders for the standard edition stick. Now, this past Saturday noon, I had happen to be in the neighborhood were that GC is located and just walked in there trying my luck. I asked the rep about the TE stick and at first he said no more pre-orders were being taken because they had reached a cut off limit, but he quickly went to the back for some unknown reason, then came back to the front and checked in the system and told me that it was now re-opened for orders. I quickly told him to put me down for one and paid for it. I got a receipt to confirm my purchase. Now, it’s just a waiting game and hopefully it comes through. By the way they are having a SF4 tournament, XBox 360, on 02/16/2009. Don’t know what the prizes are, if any, but I signed up for it.

someone here mentioned Gamecrazy. I callede a few stores and none of them were doing pre-orders. Garden Grove was my last resort and they had it. Went by, put $100 down, got my receipt and called it a day.
