Official Street Fighter IV FightSticks & FightPad Thread (More on the way!)

Yeah I guess it does make sense that the regular sticks would be limited as well since this is the first run of these kinds of sticks in the US. I would imagine that eventually it’ll be easier to find the regular edition sticks as it’ll cost less money to reproduce. A second line of Fight Sticks should be easier to see in the future.

I’m hoping I can just walk into my local EB Games in Canada and just pick up a regular fighstick. I’ve thought about it, and I don’t like the idea of lugging the TE around to other people’s houses and risk damaging it. If I bring a TE to somebody’s house they’ll want to touch it…with their hands…

why is it that in Amazon the TE stick for both 360 and ps3 are priced between 69.99 and 79.99?

Licensing fees. And those aren’t the TE sticks, they’re the regular fighting sticks.

If I am not gonna order the TE edition, is the regular one ok though as I dont have a stick for my PS3

plus I live in England and Amazon wsnt shipping over here

filthy hobbitses…

Its fine, keep in mind you can easily swap out the stock parts and replace them with all Sanwa parts if you want.

Yeah my TE stick is staying at my house. Too many greedy people trying to steal sticks at tourneys and conventions. Plus I’m too used to my super lightweight custom stick.

yay, updated first post ftw!

my TE sticks are probably going to stay in the boxes for quite some time… might sell them when people really realize “oh shit, this arent easy to get”

my TE stick will be staying home as well

Just got back from the tournament held here in San Diego.

Got to try out the TE sticks.

All I can say is you guys are not going to be disappointed.

Stick felt very solid. more solid then the HRAP, lot more solid…

Markman was kind enough to open up the SE as well for me to check out.

very well done. by the way, hard to see from the pics posted of the inside but the wires are all marked as well on the SE.

Those that can’t get the TE, get the SE. I think you’ll be very happy with it.

By the way, according to Mark, SE is almost sold out as well so if you want one, get in on it while you can.

there were some really good players on hand at games on.

I was totally out classed by most of the players but had a great time getting my ass kicked playing on the TE.

Sorry it took so long, took me hours to do that.

And very much appreciated. Hopefully, it will actually do something as people are too quick to pull the trigger with laziness and ignorance.

+++ Repped.

It was nice meeting you!

Hope you had fun and I’m glad you liked the sticks!

It was nice to meet you too Mark.

Hope to see you again. Maybe next time at a Tekken tournament or something. :wgrin:

Thanks for taking the time out to show me and explain all the things about the sticks.

you did a very nice job. It’s arcade stick fan’s wet dream come true.

this great now i don’t have to try and find stuf for people new to threaD

This hasn’t been fixed yet

since u have seen the inside of the se, if i were to switch the joystick to a jlf do u think i would need to solder or modify anything in order for it to fit/work?

NO, this has been previously answered I think maybe 20 times, no joke.

there’s still hope for people who missed out on the pre-orders for the TE stick.
