So are gamecrazy pre-orders direct like best buy?
You would most likely have to rewire the stick to a ps2 pcb.

Isnt this wrong. I thought the usb cord length was 4 meters.
Depends on your definition of ‘easy’. If you’re cool with soldering, based on what’s been released, it should be pretty easy. If you’re scared of soldering, I’m trying to have a solderless solution available by launch.
There’s 210 pages so sifting through info is difficult, excuse me if this has been mentioned.
I know it has a universal mounting plate, So I’m thinking about ordering a Seimitsu Joystick to try out with my TE. I also want to get a Octo Gate for the Sanwa stick it comes with.
What stick should I get? also which Sanwa joystick does it come with? is it the same one as the HRAP 3?
Which of these sticks would most people prefer?
Sorry I’m new to all this, so I don’t really know why one might be better than the other. If it helps It’ll mainly be for SF3 and SF4 and I mostly play (90%) Akuma/Ken/Ryu/Sagat (not many charge characters)
Also is this the correct Gate to order for the stock Sanwa stick the TE comes with?

Sorry if this has been asked before, and thank you in advance
^If you want the te stick to be arcade perfect, get the ls-32-01. Dont order any parts yet just try out the jfl stick and see if you like it.
^ Is it the same Sanwa stick as in the HRAP 3? Cause I have one of those and prefer the Octo Gate to the Square (personally).
Actually, the Vewlix cabinets use JLFs, not LS-32s. LS-32s were used on older Capcom games.
http://www.lizardlickamusements.com/.../sanwa_gty.jpg <~will work with TE’s Sanwa JLF stick out of the box.
http://lizardlick.com/images/for_sale/joysticks/ls_32_01.jpg <~just ordered this for testing on the TE FS, should be 100% compatible swap, condiering the universal plate in the TE.
I no nothing about the other Seimitsu Joysticks.
Sanwa JLF’s are accurate sticks, decent dead zone (has some play from neutral and moment of hitting microswitch), spring has very light resistance (just like sanwa buttons)
Seimitsu LS-32’s have a smaller dead zone and allow for shorter throw inputs. The actual actuator looks to have a larger circumference than the Sanwa JLF, spring is a little heavier than JLF’s (more resistance)
Usually all depends on your personal preference
Yes i know that. Personally i perfer the ls-32-01. The aracde here were i live at, SFIV is set up with the ls-32-01.
are you guys thinking also that madcatz has changed the “only 3000 TE joysticks made” to maybe 10,000? cause there are an awful lot of these preorders being made.
maybe they’re keeping the actual # made on the down low so they can create an unprecedented demand like nintendo did with the wii.
Like I said earlier I dont really care if they’re limited or not. Why not let everyone get them who wants them. I just want mine ASAP.
I Just pre-ordered a second TE from bestbuy. Oh yes…!
So much for Limited! lol
Who knows.
I’m all for as many being made as needed, and I hope everyone gets a stick (or two, or three, etc), but this is all pretty strange considering we heard WEEKS ago that there were “six times more pre-orders than the production run.”
There’s only been some vague “they’ll probably make more eventually” talk but nothing confirmed, and the rumors that there are many, many times more pre-orders then there are sticks to go around haven’t exactly been debunked either.
Unless MadCatz DO NOT WANT MONEY, they will make more TE sticks.
It will be limited. For sure.
Balla!
It’s gonna be two normal fight sticks for me and a TE stick once I make some money.
Hey, I can’t see why not…
this can quite possibly be a classic ‘smoke and lights’ illusion of a “very very low” amount made Tournament Edition Fightsticks…lol…scare the hardcore gamer tactic…into buying immediately without a train of thought…lol…maybe buy 2 or 3 just in case…well, nice marketing strategy…
cuz I ordered 4… =/ ouch
to everyone ordering more than 2 of these, damn. but actually that’s not a bad idea considering that they’ll be hard to find after the initial batches.
something interesting i came across while googling, nough said LOL
